Ms. Nguyen Vi Hong Thanh, manager of SOJO Hotel Viet Tri, said that last weekend (December 28-29) when the Vietnamese team played the second leg of the semi-final in Viet Tri, the hotel recorded a room occupancy rate of about 90%. "The first leg of the final on January 2, 2025 will attract a large number of tourists to Viet Tri, and the hotel's room occupancy rate is expected to reach 90% or more. SOJO Hotel Viet Tri has made careful preparations to ensure the best experience for visitors, both in terms of equipment and staff... According to Ms. Nguyen Vi Hong Thanh, if sports and cultural events are held regularly, Viet Tri will become one of the top destinations in the region, contributing to the development of sustainable tourism in the locality.
"Major events such as football or cultural festivals not only promote tourism but also bring many practical benefits. In terms of increasing destination attractiveness, Viet Tri will be better known as an ideal place for national and international events. In terms of economic development, events increase revenue for service industries such as accommodation, food and beverage, and transportation, while creating job opportunities for people. In addition, they also promote investment in upgrading infrastructure for tourism and event organization, thereby improving overall service quality."
Mr. Nguyen Dac Thuy, Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Phu Tho province, said that in addition to well-prepared facilities and competition conditions at Viet Tri Stadium according to Asian standards, the locality is also actively improving the image of Phu Tho tourism, which is also the national image.

According to Mr. Tran Thanh Son - Chairman of Phu Tho Tourism Association, in recent years, Viet Tri city and Phu Tho province in general have become accustomed to serving large events, including sports activities. Upgraded infrastructure and many developed tourist routes have helped to keep visitors from far away in Phu Tho.
