Conference on Press work deployment in 2025

On the afternoon of December 30, the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department held a conference to review press work in 2024 and deploy tasks for 2025. Comrade Tran Minh Nam, member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department chaired the conference.

In 2024, the province's Propaganda sector has been proactive, active, closely following the leadership of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee and the guidance of the Central Propaganda Department; proactively, responsibly, promptly advising, proposing, and effectively implementing press and publishing work in the province; directing propaganda work, orienting important political events, major anniversaries of the country and the province. Central and local press agencies have stepped up information and propaganda on the implementation and concretization of the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress, the Resolution of the 14th Ninh Thuan Provincial Party Congress into life; strongly, extensively and widely propagating political events, major holidays of the country and the province; continuing to proactively promote propaganda on Party building and rectification work; preventing and combating corruption, negativity, and waste; Information and propaganda work on management and implementation of socio-economic goals and targets has many innovations and creativity in the direction of closely following and reflecting vivid reality, thereby analyzing, explaining and proposing and recommending solutions to promote more effective and quality implementation. Information and propaganda work to protect the Party's ideological foundation and fight against erroneous and hostile views has increasingly gone into depth, achieving positive results. Press agencies apply information technology and digital transformation in press activities, spreading propaganda information on social networking platforms.

Concluding the conference, comrade Tran Minh Nam, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department, highly appreciated the contributions of the central and local press agencies in the past time. The propaganda work has contributed significantly to creating positive changes in the awareness and actions of each cadre and party member, creating high unity in the entire Party Committee, consensus among the people, promoting emulation movements to successfully carry out the tasks of socio-economic development, ensuring national defense and security, building the Party and the political system of the province. To successfully implement the goals, targets and tasks of the Resolution of the 14th Provincial Party Congress, Comrade Tran Minh Nam requested that the State management agencies of the province's press need to proactively, promptly and closely follow the direction of press work, helping press agencies and journalists to properly implement their principles and purposes, better serve the task of informing and propagating the province's political tasks quickly and comprehensively and meet the information needs of the public. The Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department also requested that the province's press agencies focus on deeply, comprehensively and promptly propagating the directives, resolutions and policies of the Party and the State; especially improving the quality and effectiveness of information and propaganda in the press. For representative offices, reporters of resident newspapers continue to pay attention to coordinating information and propaganda on important political tasks of the province, especially on policies, orientations, regulations, and projects of the Central and the province on arranging and streamlining the organization and apparatus for effective and efficient operation; propaganda work, dissemination, creating high consensus and unity among cadres, party members and people of all walks of life in the process of implementing the restart of the Ninh Thuan Nuclear Power Plant.
