Conference to review foreign information work in 2024 and deploy tasks in 2025

In 2024, closely following the leadership and direction of the Central Committee, the Provincial Party Committee, and the Provincial Steering Committee, the tasks of foreign propaganda and information were effectively implemented in all three areas of Party foreign affairs, State diplomacy, and people's diplomacy.

Comrade Tran Minh Nam, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department spoke at the meeting.

Thereby, the investment attraction policies, potentials, advantages, homeland image, culture and people of Ninh Thuan are known more to businesses, friends, people at home and abroad; creating unity within the Party, consensus of society in the process of the Party Committee implementing tasks, contributing to socio-economic development, ensuring national defense and security of the province. In particular, in 2024, Ninh Thuan will be in the top 10 provinces nationwide in attracting investment (FDI), with a total capital of over 1,214 million USD.

Concluding the conference, the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee acknowledged the achievements in foreign information work. In the context of the unpredictable developments of conflicts between major countries in the world, climate change, and difficult-to-control epidemics; the organization of party congresses at all levels, the 15th Provincial Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term; at the same time, implementing the policy of innovation, streamlining the apparatus of the political system, operating effectively and efficiently, and developing the national energy infrastructure, including restarting and investing in the Ninh Thuan Nuclear Power Project... have greatly impacted the province's foreign information work.

Comrade Pham Van Hau, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, Head of the Provincial Steering Committee for External Information Affairs delivered a concluding speech at the conference.

To successfully carry out the tasks of 2025, he requested that each member of the Provincial Steering Committee uphold the sense of responsibility for propaganda orientation; seriously, qualitatively and effectively carry out foreign information work in localities, sectors and units. Focus on inspecting and urging the implementation of tasks according to assigned areas. Focus on improving the quality and effectiveness of communication activities, foreign information, promotion, introduction of images, policies, investment environment, potential strengths, historical traditions, cultural heritage... of the locality to domestic and international friends to ensure focus, key points, effectiveness and practicality. Pay attention to training, coaching, and fostering knowledge of foreign information for cadres in charge, part-time, propaganda forces, reporters, editors of press agencies; focus on building quality news and articles, using foreign languages ​​to propagate and promote the locality...
