Conference to summarize the work of the School Youth Union in the year 2023

On the afternoon of June 26, the Provincial Youth Union of Agencies and Enterprises held a conference to summarize the work of the School Youth Union in the 2023-2024 year.

The emulation bloc of school unions (under the Union of the Bloc) currently has 3 affiliated school-based unions (Thai Nguyen University Branch Union in Lao Cai province; Lao Cai College Union; Union of the Provincial Center for General Technology, Vocational Guidance and Continuing Education) with 3,526 young lecturers, students and university students participating in activities.

In the 2023-2024 school year, the Youth Union and school youth movements have achieved many good results in all aspects of activities. Propaganda and education work continues to be the "red thread" throughout with many innovations and creativity. The organization and building of the Youth Union has been consolidated and enhanced. The role of the Youth Union in participating in Party building and the political system has been clearly affirmed. Last year, the school Youth Unions reviewed and introduced a list of 357 outstanding Youth Union members to the Party; admitted 27 student Union members and 3 young teachers and lecturers into the Party.

In addition, the entire block has registered and implemented 8 grassroots youth projects and tasks with a total amount of 133 million VND; maintained the activities of the Young Theory Club model at Thai Nguyen University Branch in Lao Cai province and Lao Cai College Youth Union every quarter. Activities to disseminate laws, train, equip skills, raise awareness of students about gender, reproductive health, HIV/AIDS prevention, sexual abuse, dangerous diseases, drugs and stimulants are regularly and diversely organized by the Block Youth Union and the school Youth Unions, attracting a large number of students to participate...

Awarding Certificates of Merit to collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in the work of the Youth Union and school youth movement in the year 2023 - 2024.

At the conference, union members and young people in the School Union Emulation Bloc had many practical ideas to contribute to better implementing the Union work and youth movement in the 2024-2025 school year.

On this occasion, the Provincial Youth Union of Agencies and Enterprises awarded Certificates of Merit to 4 collectives and 8 individuals with outstanding achievements in implementing the Youth Union work and school youth movements in the 2023-2024 school year; awarded the title of "5 Good Students" to 20 outstanding Youth Union members of the Thai Nguyen University Branch Youth Union in Lao Cai province; awarded the title of "3-Training Students" to 9 Youth Union members of the Intermediate level of Lao Cai College Youth Union; awarded the title of "3 Good Students" to 10 students of the Youth Union of the Provincial Center for General Technology, Vocational Guidance and Continuing Education.
