Conference on information and propaganda on the situation of Vietnam's seas and islands in 2023

On September 18, the Provincial Federation of Labor (FFL) coordinated with the Naval Region 4 Command to organize a conference to inform and propagate the situation of Vietnam's seas and islands in 2023.

The conference was attended by more than 100 delegates who are full-time officials of the Provincial Federation of Labor, the Federation of Labor of districts and cities, the Trade Unions of the industry, the Trade Unions of the provincial industrial zones, the Chairmen and Vice Chairmen of the grassroots trade unions. At the conference, the delegates were informed by the reporter of the Naval Region 4 Command on the main topics including: The position, role and importance of Vietnam's seas and islands in the cause of national construction and defense, new information on the situation in the East Sea; Propagating historical and legal bases affirming Vietnam's sovereignty over the seas and islands over the Hoang Sa and Truong Sa archipelagos; the implementation of a number of tasks and solutions to overcome the European Commission's warnings on combating illegal, unreported and unregulated fishing; informing and propagating the Party's viewpoints, policies and laws of our State in resolving maritime disputes and the results of resolving maritime border issues between Vietnam and related countries; Struggle to refute the wrong and hostile views of hostile forces and reactionary organizations that take advantage of the East Sea issue and the relationship between Vietnam and countries related to the East Sea to sabotage us...

Through information and propaganda activities to raise awareness and responsibility of trade union officials for the task of protecting the sovereignty of the sea and islands of the Fatherland. Thereby contributing to building awareness and responsibility, strengthening the relationship of solidarity between the army and the people, promoting the combined strength of the great national solidarity bloc for the cause of building and protecting territorial sovereignty, maintaining political security and safety of the sea and islands of the Fatherland.
