Conference to review the progress of preparations for the 2nd Ninh Binh Trang An Festival in 2023

On December 19, the Organizing Committee of the 2023 Festival held a conference to review the progress of preparations for the 2nd Ninh Binh-Trang An Festival in 2023.

Comrade Tong Quang Thin, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Head of the Festival Organizing Committee chaired the conference. Also attending were members of the Festival Organizing Committee; Xuan Truong Construction Enterprise.

At the conference, the leaders of the Department of Culture and Sports reported on the progress of the Festival preparations up to the present time. Accordingly, the units assigned in the plan have implemented the tasks on schedule. Propaganda work has been promoted through press agencies and social networking platforms, creating a widespread effect of information about the event.

The Department of Culture and Sports has coordinated with units to well prepare for the reception, arrange accommodation for delegates attending the Festival opening ceremony, print invitations; develop scripts for the main activities of the Festival as well as live television programs; the construction of stages, stands and related items is being carried out on schedule; environmental sanitation, electricity, and technological infrastructure are being deployed and surveyed by units; prepare plans for ensuring security and order, clearing bombs, explosives, fire prevention and fighting, etc.

At the conference, representatives of units and enterprises reported on the progress of preparations for the Festival in their assigned fields; pointed out difficulties and obstacles in the implementation process and proposed a number of contents that need guidance and resolution.

Speaking at the conference, Comrade Tong Quang Thin, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Head of the Festival Organizing Committee emphasized: The 2nd Ninh Binh-Trang An Festival in 2023 is a special event of national significance. In particular, the highlight that makes the difference of the 2nd Ninh Binh-Trang An Festival in 2023 is the opening program, which is elaborately staged as the first live performance held in the magical space of the World Cultural and Natural Heritage of Trang An Scenic Landscape Complex. Therefore, all preparations must be carried out to ensure absolute safety, especially in preparing the stage, stands, and fire prevention and fighting plans.

He requested the Provincial Police and the Department of Construction to coordinate in implementing the survey and inspection work to ensure standards; the Department of Culture and Sports and the Provincial Radio and Television Station to closely coordinate in introducing sponsors on live television; the Department of Culture and Sports to authorize the producer to sign contracts, ensuring the rights of sponsors.

Regarding the power supply plan, it is recommended that the Department of Culture and Sports, the Provincial Radio and Television Station coordinate with Ninh Binh Electricity to agree on a power supply plan for the event and for the live TV color vehicle to ensure safety, smooth operation, and have a backup plan.

The provincial police have developed a detailed plan to ensure security and order for the three nights of the Festival; the provincial military command has implemented a plan to clear bombs, explosives, and drones; the health department has implemented food safety measures at the event site.

At the same time, he also noted that relevant units should pay attention to doing a good job of welcoming delegates, arranging accommodation and meals for delegates, artists and actors attending the Festival...

The comrade also agreed on the activities organized at the 2nd Ninh Binh-Trang An Festival in 2023, including 3 main activities: Festival opening program (December 26, 2023 at Trang An Scenic Landscape Complex); Southern cultural heritage program (December 28, 2023 at Trang An Scenic Landscape Complex); Northern - Central cultural heritage program, international exchange and Closing program (December 31, 2023 at Thung Nham Eco-tourism Area).
