The 31st Provincial Party Executive Committee Conference, term XX, term 2020-2025

On March 28, under the chairmanship of comrade Nguyen Thanh Hai, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation, the Provincial Party Committee held the 31st Conference to discuss and give opinions on 07 contents on socio-economic development, Party building work and preparations for the 18th Session (special session) of the 14th Provincial People's Council. At this conference, the Provincial Party Committee also conducted the process of completing and supplementing the Party Committee members and reviewing and supplementing the planning of the positions of Party Committee members and members of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee for the 2020-2025 term. Attending the conference were comrade Trinh Viet Hung, alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; comrade Pham Hoang Son, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; delegates of the Central Party Committees; Comrades, members of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, members of the Provincial Party Executive Committee; Standing members of the Provincial People's Council and leaders of the Provincial People's Committee; leaders of departments, branches, sectors and localities.

The 31st Provincial Party Executive Committee Conference, term XX, 2020-2025.

The report on the results of the implementation of the political tasks of the Provincial Party Committee in the first quarter of 2024 shows that in the first 3 months of the year, Party committees and authorities at all levels have focused on leading and directing the synchronous and drastic implementation of local political tasks right from the first days and months with a vibrant emulation spirit to promote socio-economic development, actively taking care of Tet for the people; promptly and effectively handling unexpected and arising issues. Therefore, the province's socio-economy continues to develop, people's lives are improved and enhanced; the fields of Party building, political system building, national defense, security and foreign affairs have many positive changes. Notably, the indicators of industrial production value, goods export value; total state budget revenue in the area have basically all reached and exceeded the same period in 2023.

Faced with the requirements and tasks set out in the coming time regarding socio-economic development, the Provincial Party Secretary requested the members of the Provincial Party Committee, heads of agencies, units and localities to continue to resolutely and synchronously implement tasks and solutions to accelerate the disbursement of public investment capital, compensation and site clearance, and land management in the area, especially for localities implementing key projects and works. Strengthen inspection and supervision of the implementation of investment projects and works within and outside the budget in the area. Focus on inspection and examination of planning management, construction management, and mineral exploitation; promptly detect and strictly handle violations. Along with that, continue to focus on leading and directing the implementation of national defense, security, foreign affairs, Party building, political system building, reviewing and preparing well the contents of the 18th Session (special session) and preparing well for the organization of the 19th Session of the 14th Provincial People's Council according to regulations.

Regarding the contents of requesting opinions from the Provincial Party Committee on extending the implementation period and disbursement of local budget capital in 2023; extending the time for arranging capital for project implementation; the draft Project on rearranging commune-level administrative units in the 2023-2025 period of the province and the results of implementing the Resolution of the Provincial Party Committee on the Digital Transformation Program of Thai Nguyen province in the 2021-2025 period, with a vision to 2030. These are all important contents, based on thorough discussion, clarifying the legal basis, roadmap, and solutions for implementation. The Provincial Party Executive Committee agreed on the policy and assigned the Party Executive Committee of the Provincial People's Committee to receive comments from the members of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, complete the documents and content to ensure they are complete, strict, and in accordance with the Party's policies, guidelines, and regulations, and the State's policies and laws before submitting them to the 18th Session of the Provincial People's Council for consideration and decision according to its authority.

At this conference, the Party Executive Committee also carried out the process of completing and supplementing members of the Provincial Party Executive Committee for the 2020-2025 term, reviewing and supplementing the planning of positions of members of the Provincial Party Executive Committee and members of the Provincial Party Standing Committee for the 2020-2025 term./.
