Up to now, in Ninh Thuan province, there are 239 relics listed in the inventory, including: communal houses, pagodas, temples, churches, Cham towers, mosques, revolutionary historical relics, and scenic spots. There have been 75 cultural heritages classified at all levels, with 2 categories of Southern amateur music and Cham pottery art recognized by UNESCO as representative intangible cultural heritage of humanity; 18 national heritages and 53 relics and cultural heritages ranked at the provincial level... In recent years, the management, conservation and promotion of the values of the province's cultural heritage have always been given attention and focus; the annual restoration, embellishment and rehabilitation of relics have been prioritized for investment and construction, contributing to effectively promoting the values of historical and cultural relics.

At the meeting, members of the National Cultural Heritage Council assessed Ninh Thuan as a locality possessing many unique cultural heritages, with a rich and diverse cultural picture with the interweaving of ethnic groups living in the area. At the same time, they shared and contributed many ideas about investment and conservation such as: Planning organization must be comprehensive with a long-term development strategy for cultural conservation; pay attention to investing in upgrading the Cham Cultural Research Center, traditional craft villages; focus on researching and restoring ritual systems, customs, and traditional crafts of ethnic minority areas. Orientation for developing tourism products associated with cultural heritage; training human resources for heritage conservation, support policies for artisans.
The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee thanked the National Cultural Heritage Council for taking the time to conduct a field survey of the province's cultural heritages. The enthusiastic contributions of the members of the delegation helped the province have new directions in the management, conservation and promotion of cultural heritage values in the locality in the coming time. Due to the limited resources of the province, the conservation and promotion of heritage values encountered certain difficulties. He hoped that the National Cultural Heritage Council would give opinions and propose to the Government and relevant ministries and branches to allocate funding sources for the restoration and renovation of the system of cultural relics; pay attention to supporting the planning for the conservation, restoration and promotion of the values of the special national relics of Hoa Lai tower, Po Klong Garai tower and the conservation and promotion of the values of the intangible cultural heritage of the Cham people's pottery art.
