Provincial Association of Former Youth Volunteers deploys tasks for 2024

This morning, January 26, the Provincial Association of Former Youth Volunteers (TNXP) held a meeting to summarize the work in 2023 and deploy tasks in 2024.

In 2023, the Provincial Association of Former Youth Volunteers achieved many results in all aspects of work. It admitted 99 new members, bringing the total number of members in the province to 8,777. The association at all levels regularly does a good job of political education, upholds and promotes the traditions of the Youth Volunteers, and sets an example in implementing the Party's guidelines and policies and the State's policies and laws.

The activities of “Comradely love” and “Repaying gratitude” achieved many outstanding results. Mobilized organizations, businesses, and philanthropists with a total amount of more than 3.3 billion VND to support the construction of 16 new houses, repair 10 houses; mobilized the donation of nearly 2,900 gifts to members in difficult circumstances; visited and regularly cared for 250 former female Youth Volunteers across the province.

Through the campaign “Former Youth Volunteers set good examples, study and follow Ho Chi Minh’s ideology, morality and style”, the emulation movements “Former Youth Volunteers do good business - For the sake of comradeship”, “For the sake of comradeship, each former Youth Volunteer does many good deeds” have created many good examples in social activities and economic development, helping 196 members escape poverty. The whole province has 205 good production and business models, making many contributions to social security activities.

Regarding the tasks in 2024, the Provincial Association of Former Youth Volunteers will strengthen propaganda work, organize traditional education activities; continue to innovate and improve the quality of the association's work; promote the role of historical witnesses in advising on policies and regimes for former Youth Volunteers.

Improve the effectiveness of the campaign "Former Youth Volunteers set a good example in studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle", the movement "Former Youth Volunteers do good business - For the sake of comradeship", "For the sake of comradeship, each former Youth Volunteer does many good deeds".

On this occasion, the Vietnam Association of Former Youth Volunteers presented the Flag "Excellent Unit in 2023" to the Provincial Association of Former Youth Volunteers; presented certificates of merit to 5 collectives and 10 individuals with outstanding achievements in campaigns and movements in 2023. The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee presented certificates of merit to 2 collectives and 3 individuals with many outstanding achievements in the work of building and developing the Association of Former Youth Volunteers in 2023.
