The Provincial Red Cross Association coordinated to present 50 gifts to people in Dong Ha City.

With the desire to help people reduce difficulties and have a warmer Lunar New Year, this morning, January 12, at the People's Committee of Dong Giang Ward, Dong Ha City, the Red Cross Society of Quang Tri Province in collaboration with Prudential Life Insurance Company Limited organized the charity Tet program "Full of love - Accompanying to overcome difficulties".

The beneficiaries of this program are households in difficult circumstances in Dong Giang Ward and Ward 4, Dong Ha City. At the program, the organizing committee presented 100 gifts, each worth 500,000 VND, including blankets and necessities. The total value of the program is 50 million VND.

As one of the households receiving gifts in the Tet charity program "Full of love - Accompanying to overcome difficulties", Mr. Mai Xuan Dieu, living in Quarter 3, Dong Giang Ward, was very moved. It is known that his family's circumstances are relatively difficult. His wife earns income from selling goods on the street, all the money and assets in the house are spent on his monthly dialysis. Mr. Dieu said: "This gift is not only valuable in terms of material value but also spiritual encouragement, helping my family have more motivation to rise up, especially when Tet is approaching very soon".

Speaking at the program, Chairwoman of the Provincial Red Cross Society Mai Thi Kim Nhung acknowledged the companionship of Prudential Life Insurance Company Limited in social security activities, supporting people in difficult circumstances in the province. With the spirit of "Leaving no one behind", the Chairwoman of the Provincial Red Cross Society hopes to continue to receive support from the company in particular and charitable individuals and organizations in general so that the poor in the area can receive more attention and sharing.
