Attending the 91st national defense and security knowledge training course, there are nearly 60 comrades who are key leaders of ministries, branches, localities and units. Students will study the following topics: National defense strategy in the new situation; the Party's guidelines and viewpoints, the State's policies and laws on national defense and security; socio-economic development associated with strengthening national defense and security; building a national defense and people's security; protecting national security, political security, cultural ideology...

At the same time, we will exchange and research a number of topics on defense strategies of some countries related to Vietnam's defense and security; foreign affairs associated with defense and security in the new situation; prevention and combat of the "peaceful evolution" strategy, riots and overthrow of hostile forces; issues on military zone defense operations, building defense zones of provinces and cities; management and protection of sea and island sovereignty, national border sovereignty; participate in research, visits, and experience exchange on defense and security work combined with socio-economic development of some units and localities.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Senior Lieutenant General Tran Viet Khoa emphasized that the national defense and security knowledge training course will help students improve their awareness, strategic forecasting ability; capacity to advise and organize the implementation of military, defense and security tasks; assess the situation, and solve theoretical and practical problems in each field. Senior Lieutenant General Tran Viet Khoa requested that students need to uphold their sense of responsibility, overcome difficulties, make the most of their time, and promote creativity in learning to improve their knowledge and capacity.

With the spirit of teaching in a positive direction, innovating the method of assessing learning outcomes, resolutely implementing the policy of "substantial teaching, substantial learning, substantial assessment of results", the quality of training - education and scientific research of the Academy is constantly improved, worthy of being the leading center of training - education, research, and development of military science and art of the Army and the Country, with prestige in the region and internationally.

To date, the Academy has successfully organized 90 training courses on national defense and security knowledge for more than 6,000 senior officials under the Central management of central departments, ministries, branches, the Army, the Public Security and localities, raising awareness of national defense and security tasks, contributing to the successful implementation of two strategic tasks: Building socialism and firmly protecting the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.
