In the movie "We of 8 years later", Hoang Ha first co-starred with Quoc Anh but the two co-stars got along very well. What did Hoang Ha share about her co-star?
- Maybe Quoc Anh is not the most compatible co-star, but I am very grateful to the audience for praising us. I read comments saying that we acted so well that it was embarrassing (laughs).
If you watch the products I've participated in from the MV Nang Tho (Hoang Dung), Call me (Wren Evans) or the movie Em va Trinh , you can see that I can easily get along with any co-star.
To have a chemistry, whether an actor or a singer, you need expertise, understanding of acting techniques, and how to apply your instincts. In the movie Us of 8 Years Later , I also had good interactions with Uncle Trung Anh.
From the beginning, Quoc Anh and I did not get along well. We still keep behind-the-scenes footage of the first days we met. At that time, Quoc Anh was very different in appearance and acting style.
After a few times, I tried to open up, but when I saw that Quoc Anh still wasn't completely open, I asked: "Have you really opened up yet?". We had to talk a lot, discuss scenes like holding hands, hugging, kissing to make it look soft and natural like a couple in love.

How do you two spend time together so you can understand and interact well on film?
- At that time, I was still filming Wren Evans's MV Call Me in the South so I had to fly back and forth, so I didn't have much time.
We only had one outing together. During that time, we talked to each other as much as possible, telling each other everyday stories like our parents, our dreams, and our artistic views.
Many viewers after watching the movie called you two the new "screen couple" or the new "muse" or "male god" of VFC. What do you think?
- I'm not being too confident, but I'm proud that with just this movie, Quoc Anh and I can be called a very compatible couple on screen. Because we've filmed the entire movie and know what the next scenes will be like, and how compatible we are.
Finding someone to always act with to create chemistry and compatibility is not my point of view when doing art. I like change, novelty and surprise so I also want to act with other male actors.
However, I still hope to be able to work with Quoc Anh in the next film project.

Is Hoang Ha afraid of doing hot scenes with her co-star?
- There are films where I have done light love scenes like hugging, kissing, holding hands, but there are also stories where hot scenes are indispensable. Sometimes those scenes help express the character's feelings and open the knot for the later developments of the film.
I don't mind doing hot scenes but I will be selective about projects. If the hot scene is artistically valuable, I will agree. It also depends on whether my energy at that time is good or not.
What does Hoang Ha think about being lucky enough to act with handsome co-stars like Quoc Anh in "We of 8 Years Later" or Avin Lu in "You and Trinh"? Have you ever had a crush on a co-star?
- I think they must feel lucky to be paired with me because I'm also pretty and cute (laughs).
Maybe while filming a scene, I felt moved, surely it was Duong's feeling for Lam, or Dao Anh's feeling for Trinh Cong Son.
When it ended, they returned to being Quoc Anh and Avin Lu, but I didn't have any feelings for them anymore.
Because when I really get into Duong or Dao Anh's skin, I will fall in love with that character. In real life, we don't know each other much, we only understand each other on film. We just come to work and I'm very aware of this.
Among TV actors, who do you admire?
- I like Bao Thanh, because in my opinion, she is a very pleasant actress, whether it is crying, emotional, arguing, or conflicting. The keyword "pleasant" is very important and valuable to an actress.
About the actor, I was impressed by Huynh Anh's acting in the movie Chay chay thanh xuan. I don't care about external issues, I only look at the actor's ability.

The showbiz environment is complicated and sometimes you face many temptations and scandals. As a very young actor, do you have to prepare yourself mentally or know that you will have to face those temptations when entering this path?
- When talking about showbiz, people often think of temptation. Up until now, I have never had to face temptation. There were times when I saw someone "a bit notorious" in the industry sending a Facebook friend request and I was so scared that I "ran away" (laughs).
If in the future I have to face gossip and temptation, I need to stay awake to stay away from it, but I don't know what else to do.
How much is the salary for a young actor like Hoang Ha playing the main role?
- The crew, producers and media have told me that at VFC, salary is not the top priority, and there are regulations. People also told me that those who have been acting in TV dramas for a long time at VFC are not too concerned about salary, because they know they will get many other benefits.
I don't have anything so I don't know much. When you guys tell me, I just keep asking "Really?" (laughs).
After the film project "Us 8 years later", what are Hoang Ha's plans?
- On December 8th, a movie I participated in called Soul Eater will be released. If the audience continues to follow me, they can see that Hoang Ha is not only similar to Dao Anh or Mai Duong, but the character I play in this movie will have many new and different features.
My character is the daughter of the village chief, has a very upright personality but will go through many things and have surprises that even the character herself cannot know or predict.
