(NLDO) - Minister Luong Tam Quang requested to urgently complete the project and plan to arrange and streamline the organization of the local police apparatus and submit it to competent authorities.

On January 7, General Luong Tam Quang, Politburo member, Secretary of the Central Public Security Party Committee, Minister of Public Security , attended and gave a speech at the conference to review the work of organizing cadres in the People's Public Security (PPP) in 2024 and deploy the work program for 2025.

Acknowledging, appreciating, praising and congratulating the achievements and results that the work of organizing cadres in the People's Public Security Forces achieved in 2024, Minister Luong Tam Quang said that without dedication and accumulation from theory and practice, it would be impossible to urgently implement policies, complete projects and achieve such high consensus in a short time.

Regarding the direction and tasks for 2025, Minister Luong Tam Quang requested determination and drastic implementation of the key breakthrough task of "Being a pioneer in implementing the Party's policy on continuing to streamline the organizational apparatus", providing practice for the entire political system to refer to.

According to the Minister, based on existing experience, the police force will continue to carry out the revolution of streamlining the organizational apparatus, taking the lead in implementing the Party's policies. "This is an especially important political task, an order from the Party and the Politburo assigned to the Ministry of Public Security" - Minister Luong Tam Quang clearly stated.

Referring to the direction of General Secretary To Lam at the conference summarizing the Party organization and building sector on the arrangement, organization of the apparatus, and building of the cadre team, General Luong Tam Quang assigned the police chiefs at all levels and leaders and cadres to do the work of organizing cadres, implementing in accordance with the spirit of the General Secretary's direction. Along with that, there should be a plan to implement soon in the direction of reducing intermediate levels at the local level, strengthening the base, rearranging the force; ensuring direct, fastest, and consistent leadership and command from the ministry to the local level.

In addition to the organizational arrangement, Minister Luong Tam Quang noted the need to proactively calculate and perfect the Party organization, arrange and assign the staff, perfect the personnel of the Party Committee, the Inspection Committee, and arrange the Party members. At the same time, it is necessary to do a good job of political and ideological work; implement policies for cadres and soldiers in a timely and correct manner to ensure peace of mind at work, especially for cadres and soldiers who are directly affected and influenced in the process of arranging and streamlining the organizational apparatus.

The Minister of Public Security stated that the work of organizing public security officers in 2025 is very large, complicated and extremely urgent. Therefore, Minister Luong Tam Quang requested the entire force of organizing public security officers to continuously promote the achievements and results that have been achieved, spread the spirit of dedicated, urgent, resolute and effective work, ensure the correct procedures and regulations to excellently complete the tasks that the Central Public Security Party Committee and the Ministry of Public Security have entrusted.

According to the report at the conference, in 2024, the work of organizing cadres in the People's Public Security Forces closely followed and strictly implemented the leadership and direction of the Central Executive Committee, the Politburo, the Secretariat, the Central Public Security Party Committee and Party committees at all levels, with many efforts, determination, innovation in methods, strengthening administrative reform, excellently completing work tasks, with many outstanding results.
