As of May 29, the provincial police force has completed 100% of the target of issuing citizen identification cards (CCCD) to all eligible citizens in the province. The provincial police have completed the target, 32 days ahead of schedule compared to the time committed to the leaders of the Ministry of Public Security, and 63 days ahead of schedule compared to the direction of the Ministry of Public Security.
Accordingly, the total number of citizens eligible for CCCD is 1,094,375 cases in 177 communes, wards and towns of 13 districts, towns and cities. The Provincial Police force has collected CCCD application files and cleaned the conversion data for all eligible citizens, reaching a rate of 100%.
From May 29 to June 1, the police force continued to receive 1,540 more applications for CCCD issuance. Of these, 697 were newly issued, 277 were exchanged, and 566 were reissued.
It is known that after more than 2 months of implementing the peak period, the Police force for Administrative Management of Social Order in the whole province has focused and made efforts to overcome difficulties to complete assigned tasks and targets. Some units and localities have had creative and proactive ways in consulting and organizing implementation; the targets for public service implementation have been raised and maintained relatively stable.
The provincial police have advised the provincial People's Committee to implement Project 06 and digital transformation in the province, organized 4 training courses, and disseminated information on online public services and electronic identification accounts.
Following the direction of the Provincial Police, the Police of 13/13 localities have developed and issued plans to implement the "80 days and nights" peak period; organized a conference to launch the peak period and organized the Police Team for Administrative Management of Social Order and the Commune Police to commit to completing the assigned targets. At the same time, advised the Party Committee and the authorities at the same level to issue official dispatches to direct the implementation of Project 06, and directed departments, branches and organizations in the area to coordinate with the Police force to implement the peak period.
In addition, the Provincial Police also resolutely directed the Police of units and localities to thoroughly grasp and require 100% of officers and soldiers to set an example and mobilize relatives and friends to issue chip-embedded ID cards, electronic identification accounts, and install the VNeID application.
In the coming time, the Provincial Police will continue to deploy solutions to complete the target of collecting and activating electronic identification accounts before June 30, 2023.
