Summary of Milk Flower Returns in the Wind episode 43
After calming down, Thuan tried to ask her daughter, but all she got in return was silence. This made her extremely confused and scared, especially after witnessing her daughter cutting her wrists in an attempt to commit suicide. Realizing that she was wrong to force her daughter to study too much, Thuan kept apologizing to Phuong. Phuong's condition became more serious when even a loud noise made her panic and tremble. Seeing her daughter like that, Thuan felt remorseful and burst into tears.
Mrs. Truc advised Thuan: "Things have come to this, at this time, more than ever, you must be calm to take care of Phuong."
Thuan hugged his mother and cried, feeling scared because he might have made a mistake that could not be corrected. Mrs. Truc comforted him, reminding him that anyone can make mistakes, the important thing is whether or not they know how to recognize and correct them.
Trang was also worried about Phuong, so she told Thuan that she was afraid Phuong was depressed. Thuan admitted that many people had warned her but she did not believe them.

Khang was busy with work when he received a call from his brother-in-law. Mr. Hieu mentioned Thuan and Phuong's problems, making Khang reconsider. He admitted that he had been too focused on work and had neglected his family.
However, Hieu disagreed, saying that Khang was making excuses to avoid responsibility. He frankly said: “Every man needs a career, but that doesn’t mean neglecting his family.”
“I told you before that if you feel like you can't go home to have a meal with your wife and kids, then don't get married, because even if you get married, it will end in divorce.” – Hieu said sternly.
Khang understood and bowed his head to apologize, at the same time confiding that his current job was putting pressure on him, every time he came home he found his wife being harsh so he couldn't share.
Hieu continued: “You earn a lot of money but lose your wife, children, and family. Is the money you earn meaningful? I really advise you to cherish what you have, don’t have unrealistic thoughts, daydream, or chase shadows.”

Meanwhile, Khang's ex-lover has returned to the country but still avoids him for fear of gossip.
As for Phuong, after calming down, she went home with her mother but remained silent, going into her room to study. Thuan first advised her daughter to rest and invited her to go out, but Phuong remained silent and continued studying. Understanding that her daughter's mentality was still unstable, Thuan did not force her, but gave her time to think.

At this time, Khang returned home and immediately asked about his daughter's condition. Seeing her husband, Thuan showed a cold attitude and went straight to her daughter's room, where she was shocked to see Phuong slumped over the desk. Luckily, Phuong was just too tired and fell asleep.

Khang blamed Thuan for forcing his child too much, leading to this situation. Thuan protested: “What did you do? Where were you when she needed you the most? Is this house any different from your boarding house? You always have an excuse to leave early and come back late.”
Thuan did not deny her mistakes, but she also thought that Khang needed to be responsible for the child. She had to take care of herself and make her own decisions because her husband was always busy.
“I just need you to do these things: come home to eat dinner with your family every night, answer the phone when we need you. Are those things that difficult?” Thuan asked, choking up, but received no answer.
After returning home, Hieu told Linh (Thanh Huong) about Phuong hurting herself. Linh was shocked and wanted to call Thuan to ask about her but didn't know where to start. Linh confided in Hieu about the conflict with her sister-in-law, explaining: "I was worried about my mother, so she thought I was trying to please her. But I kept thinking, what did I get from pleasing my mother?"

Hieu was annoyed with his sister's personality but also sympathized with Thuan, understanding that Thuan had many things on his mind that he could not share.
As for Xoai, she was sad when she learned that the shipper Khe was married. She was heartbroken because this was her first love. Linh listened to Xoai's complaints and promised to find out and help her solve this problem.
