From May 12-14, in the walking street area around Hoan Kiem Lake - Hanoi, the largest European cultural event in 2023 in Vietnam - "European Village" officially returns after 5 years, bringing to the public a space that combines emotions through diverse cultural experiences of Europe.

“European Village” is a unique cultural and artistic program introducing the cultural diversity of Europe from art, cuisine to lifestyle right in the center of Hanoi, at Ly Thai To Monument Area, Hoan Kiem Lake.
The event is organized by the European Union (EU) Delegation and EU Member States Embassies.
Returning after five years, this large-scale event brings together 16 EU member states and special guest Ukraine, bringing their own unique cultures and identities. The participating EU countries this year include: Austria, Poland, Belgium, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Denmark, Germany, Netherlands, Hungary, Italy, France, Finland, Romania, Slovakia, Spain, and Sweden.
Attending the event, the public will have the opportunity to enjoy more than 20 captivating musical performances on the main stage of "European Village 2023", which brings together musical talents from Europe and Vietnam with a variety of styles from jazz, pop, rock, passionate DJ sets, to sublime moments with classical music.
In addition, visitors to the "European Village" 2023 will have the opportunity to experience a truly European atmosphere at the pavilions of European countries.
In addition, with the participation of more than 30 large enterprises and European culinary brands, it will bring "multi-sensory" experiences to participants.

In particular, workshops, sports, and games for all ages will take place in various areas throughout the event.
Along with that, indispensable at the event are art exhibition spaces, which are cultural values rich in heritage that make up the reputation of Europe. The event is open to the public, promising to be a space that combines all emotions.
EU Ambassador Giorgio Aliberti affirmed: “After 5 years of delay due to the pandemic, 'Europe Village' 2023 will return to the Vietnamese public and continue its special mission of introducing the richness of European culture, affirming the common principle of the EU - unity in diversity. Those vivid cultural experiences will be introduced to the Vietnamese public through the event".
According to Ambassador Giorgio Aliberti, the relationship between the EU and Vietnam is growing through many diverse and strategic cooperation activities. Cooperation projects between the EU and Vietnam have been strongly promoted and implemented in many important areas.
The "Europe Village" 2023 event not only brings opportunities for the Vietnamese public to experience Europe in many aspects, from culture, art to cuisine, fashion and lifestyle, but also builds trust, enhances understanding, thereby supporting business activities, promoting green investment and sustainable tourism between the EU and Vietnam.
