Nguyen Thu Hoai is one of two students of the University of Economics - VNU Hanoi who received a scholarship thanks to their good results in the second semester of the 2022/23 academic year, regular program in Business Administration - TNTT, standard program. The female athlete showed that she is not only talented in sports but also an excellent student.
Thu Hoai's average learning score (GPA) in the second semester was 3.87 (on a 4-point scale), while her training score was 83. She received a type B scholarship for 5 months, equivalent to 13,475,000 VND.
Previously, while looking for a part-time school, Hoai accidentally learned about the Business Administration program for sports talents at the University of Economics. She immediately submitted her application.
In addition to her busy training and competition schedule, Thu Hoai still studies seriously. Last July, she was said to have completed her second year of study at the University of Economics - VNU.
After the exam, the 2022 National Volleyball Champion teased her fans: "I can't study anymore. Can I get married?"

Thu Hoai was born in Thai Binh in a family where both her parents were in business. However, she soon fell in love with volleyball. The career of the athlete born in 1998 soon reached a memorable milestone when she was honored as the best setter of the 2016 Southeast Asian Youth Volleyball Championship. In 2022, she continued to prove her form when she and the Vietnamese women's volleyball team won the silver medal at the 31st SEA Games.
With a height of 1.74 m, a lovely face and a bright smile, the girl born in 1998 is always the center of attention every time she appears on the field.
After hours of intense training and competition, Thu Hoai in real life is also an active girl with a passion for traveling. Sharing with the media, the trip to Korea in 2022 impressed Thu Hoai the most. In addition, the talented setter of the Vietnamese team also revealed that she enjoys reading books in her free time to improve and perfect herself.
