What did Miss Ngoc Chau say when criticized for "excessive plastic surgery"?
Sharing with Dan Viet , Miss Ngoc Chau said that she has never had any plastic surgery to fix her face. The beauty born in 1994 said that the reason why she looks different is because she has gained weight compared to before and was photographed at a bad angle, making her look less attractive.
"I have never had any cosmetic surgery on my face. After the Lunar New Year 2024, I gained a little weight so my face became rounder. People rumored that I had baby cheek injections but that was not true," Miss Ngoc Chau shared.
The beauty from Tay Ninh also added that to have beautiful photos when attending events, you need to prepare everything carefully from clothes, facial expressions and especially choosing a beautiful shooting angle.
"In addition to gaining weight after Tet, I have not exercised much during this time because I am busy studying and preparing for new projects, so my figure and appearance are not the same as before," Miss Universe Vietnam 2022 revealed to Dan Viet.
Nguyen Thi Ngoc Chau was born in 1994, from Tay Ninh. At the time of her coronation as Miss Universe Vietnam 2022, Ngoc Chau was 1.74m tall with sexy measurements of 85-64-95cm. Ngoc Chau became Vietnam's representative to compete in the Miss Universe 2022 contest in the US, but the results were not as expected by the beauty community. The beauty from Tay Ninh stopped at the Top 16.
Returning from the Miss Universe 2022 contest, Miss Ngoc Chau was unexpectedly announced by the Miss Universe Organizing Committee as the winner of the vote for the most beautiful gown.
Miss Ngoc Chau apologized and thanked the beauty community for cheering and supporting her throughout her participation in the Miss Universe 2022 contest.
"I want to apologize to everyone, to those who have always followed and supported me from the very beginning. I apologize for not being able to make the two words Vietnam shouted many times on the Miss Universe stage.
I am grateful to be able to step onto the Miss Universe stage, to represent my beloved Vietnam. It is a great pride that I have. This journey at Miss Universe has given me many wonderful things. I am extremely grateful for all the love and support that everyone has given me. I will always remember and cherish those good things, a wonderful journey of youth" the beauty from Tay Ninh expressed.
Before being crowned Miss Universe Vietnam 2022, Ngoc Chau was the champion of Vietnam's Next Top Model 2016, then she was selected to compete in Miss Supranational 2019. At this beauty contest, Ngoc Chau entered the Top 10 finalists and was awarded the title of Miss Supranational Asia 2019.
Referring to her current love life, Miss Ngoc Chau shared with Dan Viet : "I am focusing on studying at school and have my own projects. I am not under any pressure or pressure from my family to get married. To be ready for love, I think it depends on fate. Therefore, in the new year 2024, I hope that in addition to my career, my love life will also be better. When the time is right, I will make my "other half" public to those who have always loved and supported me."
