Miss Mai Phuong received "good news" before the Miss World 2024 competition, but was still "surpassed" by a Thai beauty

The 71st Miss World pageant is scheduled to take place in India in February 2024. However, on December 20, 2023, the beauty website Missosology reported that Miss World has postponed the event. Accordingly, Miss Mai Phuong and contestants from all over the world will begin arriving in India on February 18, 2024, and the Miss World final is scheduled to take place on April 9.

Before officially arriving in India to participate in the 71st Miss World "race", Miss Mai Phuong unexpectedly received "good news" when she was predicted by the beauty site Pageanthology to be in the Top 12 finalists. According to this beauty site, the 5 most outstanding beauties at the Miss World 2023 contest are the representatives of Turkey; Trinidad & Tobago; Thailand; Ivory Coast and the Czech Republic. Of which, the beauty Nursena Say - representative from Turkey is predicted by the Pageanthology site to become the owner of the Miss World 2023 crown. Notably, the beauty Tharina Botes - representative of Thailand is predicted by this beauty site to stop at the 2nd runner-up position.

Miss World 2023: Miss Mai Phuong unexpectedly received "good news", the most outstanding Thai beauty?

Currently, Miss Mai Phuong is actively practicing and preparing before leaving for the Miss World contest held in India. Sharing with PV Dan Viet , Miss Mai Phuong said: "I am practicing and improving myself non-stop because my schedule is quite tight when I have to balance between going to school every night and participating in skill training courses to support this important contest. I feel happy because I am so busy!".

According to Ms. Pham Kim Dung - President of Miss World Vietnam, Miss Mai Phuong will perform the famous dance from the song See Tinh in the "Dance of the World" competition within the framework of the Miss World contest.

"With the success of the song See Tinh on the international music map, and at the same time being a song performed by the young generation of Vietnam and carrying extremely proud folk melodies, we decided to choose this as the song to accompany Mai Phuong in the performance of Dance of the World at Miss World 2023. We believe that See Tinh will be a different material, combining both the modern and traditional beauty of Vietnam, a new color that Miss World has seen about our country so far", shared the President of Miss World Vietnam.

Huynh Nguyen Mai Phuong (born in 1999) was crowned Miss World Vietnam 2022. The beauty from Dong Nai is one of the beauty queens who has received the attention of the beauty-loving community because of her "huge" academic achievements and impressive achievements in beauty contests. She won second and third prizes for excellent English students at the provincial level in 2017 and 2018, with an IELTS score of 8.0.
