Returning after an 8-year hiatus, Dancing with the Stars 2024 has many innovations, marking the combination of two Vietnamese and Korean production teams - those who made the first season of the reality dating show Paradise Island a success.
Miss Le Hoang Phuong is one of the surprising faces appearing in the cast of 10 contestants of the new version.

Miss Grand Vietnam 2023 said she accepted the invitation to participate in the program because she wanted to challenge herself in a new field. "The program's return after 8 years is a great opportunity for me to explore my abilities. The combination of music and dance has always fascinated me, so I think this will be an unforgettable experience for me to develop in many artistic fields," Le Hoang Phuong shared.
Originally an amateur beauty with little experience in dancing, the beauty from Khanh Hoa attracted comments when the organizers announced her as one of the contestants of the program. On the contest's fanpage, she received support from many fans in her new role. To prepare for the journey in the contest, the beauty queen said she devoted all her heart to practicing. This is also the reason why she has limited her appearances at events recently.
"Many people ask me why I rarely attend events in the past two months after the final walk, but I think that once I do something, I should spend all my time focusing on it to get good results. I choose events and only appear in suitable events to try to improve my dancing ability," said Le Hoang Phuong.
During the past 2 months, Le Hoang Phuong spent most of his time practicing dancing.
For the past 2 months, Le Hoang Phuong has been actively practicing to prepare for the competition. The beauty said that every day, she still has to handle work at the architectural company where she is the CEO. At around 11am, she will start her practice schedule with the organizing committee. Like other contestants, Le Hoang Phuong has about 30 dance lessons to get acquainted with dancesport, practicing with foreign dancers.
"I feel like I'm not as talented as some other contestants, so I have to make up for it with diligence. I practice dancing for about 6 hours every day. On busy days, I practice from 8 or 9 pm until midnight before I can go home," Le Hoang Phuong shared.
Thanks to her active training registration, Miss Grand Vietnam 2024 is often praised by her fellow dancers for her diligence. Getting acquainted with dancesport brings Le Hoang Phuong interesting experiences.
"Before, I thought there was only one type of dance, but when I entered the competition, I realized there were many types of dance. The most difficult thing for me was remembering the names, rhythms, and movements of each type. In addition to practicing dance, I also spent time learning about the culture of each type to best understand the spirit of the dance, so that I could perform better," said Le Hoang Phuong.

In addition to practicing dancing, the beauty queen also spends about an hour every day doing strength training, going to the gym, and learning how to warm up and stretch to reduce muscle stiffness after intense training. The beauty born in 1995 said that there were many days when she was "in so much pain that she couldn't walk" but still tried her best.
In her first performance, Le Hoang Phuong hopes to deliver an explosive performance of emotions, while also being technically sophisticated. "I want to convey the message that not only dance but any creativity requires passion and determination," the beauty queen shared.

Le Hoang Phuong was born in 1995, from Khanh Hoa. She graduated from the Architecture Department at Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology. The beauty was crowned Miss Grand Vietnam 2023 and competed in Miss Grand International in the same year. At the contest, she won the 4th runner-up position. She is currently the CEO of an architectural company.
