With the advantage of being the host country of the Miss Grand International 2023 contest, the organizing committee has created many exchange and experience activities for more than 70 beauty queens from other countries and territories. From there, the contestants will better understand the culture, country and people of Vietnam.

At the same time, the organizers and contestants posted images and video clips on social networking platforms, helping many people around the world access and understand more about Vietnam.

These activities are held at famous destinations such as historical sites and typical architectural works in Hanoi, Ha Long Bay, Da Nang, Hoi An, Hue and Ho Chi Minh City.

According to the organizers, the Miss Grand International 2023 contest will take place throughout October 2023 in many localities across the country through interesting exchange and experience activities.

Immediately after arriving in Vietnam, more than 70 contestants from countries and territories around the world and Vietnam's representative, Miss Le Hoang Phuong, participated in sideline activities.

In Hanoi, candidates visited Ngoc Son Temple, Hoan Kiem Lake, Temple of Literature, attended the Hello Vietnam program at Hanoi Opera House and watched the Tinh Hoa Bac Bo show.

The special thing when visiting the famous places here is that the contestants wear Vietnamese Ao Dai. This helps the contestants learn more about the traditional costumes of our country.

Beauties believe that the ao dai is elegant, discreet, enhances the figure, feminine beauty and helps the wearer feel more confident.

Miss Grand Angola said: “I really feel very confident and beautiful wearing the ao dai.”

“This outfit is modest, covering from neck to toe but I still feel feminine and beautiful” - Miss Grand Nigeria shared.

In the next activity, the Miss Grand International 2023 contestant wore the Ao Tu Than - a typical costume of the Northern people. Designed with a thin, light material, the outfit was airy, helping the contestant feel comfortable.

The contestants visited Thay Pagoda - one of the oldest pagodas in Vietnam. After that, they enjoyed the Quintessence of the North program, learning more about the culture of the North in particular and Vietnam in general.

Experience Vietnamese cuisine

Within the framework of Miss Grand International 2023 , contestants will have the opportunity to exchange culture through bamboo dancing with local people, experience riding a cyclo...

Candidates especially enjoyed enjoying delicious Vietnamese food , especially street food.

Miss Grand Canada said she tried eating Vietnamese rice but had difficulty holding chopsticks at first.

“I have eaten pho in Canada but really want to try pho in Vietnam” - Miss Grand Canada added.

Especially in Ha Long Bay, beauties from different countries enjoyed regional cuisine such as banh xeo, banh beo, banh cuon. Among them, many contestants liked soup.

Miss Grand Duc shared: "The spicy taste of the soup is great. The shrimp dish is also impeccable."

Meanwhile, Miss Grand Panama loves chè. She asked the crew to teach Vietnamese about chè so she could introduce it to her friends.

Then, the group went to Hoi An ancient town to enjoy Central specialties such as banh beo, banh nam... especially cao lau and Quang noodles .

The beauties praised the cuisine here. In addition to the typical Quang noodles that cannot be missed when coming to Hoi An, the contestants also enjoyed Hoi An black sesame sweet soup.

Miss Grand Chile shared: "I love Vietnamese food, maybe I will gain 3kg before the swimsuit competition".

Miss Grand Belgium shared: "Vietnamese food is delicious but I need to follow a diet to stay in shape."

“I am proud every time I introduce Vietnamese culture, especially cuisine, to the contestants. They told me that they will return to Vietnam to enjoy those dishes” - Miss Le Hoang Phuong shared.

The final night of Miss Grand International 2023 is expected to take place on the evening of October 25, in Ho Chi Minh City.
