4 Super Mentors Thanh Hang, Ho Ngoc Ha, Huong Giang and Lan Khue along with 24 contestants opened the final night of The New Mentor with an eye-catching ao dai performance. Designer Linh San took inspiration from Vietnam's famous landscapes from North to South.

In the final night, Thanh Hang wore a modernized ao dai with off-shoulder embellishments of famous historical sites in the North such as One Pillar Pagoda, Trang An cultural heritage... Huong Giang's ao dai was highlighted by a cape combined with a hood, and lotus petal motifs blooming on a green fabric background.
Lan Khue wore an elaborately embellished ao dai with padded shoulders, accompanied by a meter-long see-through cape. Ho Ngoc Ha's ao dai also had a unique cape, shaped like a landscape of the Central region with hundreds of high-quality gemstones, combined with brooch accessories.

Behind the scenes, designer Linh San said that to create the collection, she and dozens of artisans worked together to draw, embroider, and attach by hand for more than a month to complete the costumes. Rare materials such as silk, organza, silk, chiffon... were still combined and interwoven with sparkling crystals, sequins, gold and silver threads.
Due to limited time, each ao dai has about 4 to 5 skilled artisans meticulously caring for each stitch to complete it in time for the performance at the final night of The New Mentor 2023.
Ho Ngoc Ha's ao dai design was inspired by the scenery of the Central region, while Lan Khue wore an ao dai with elaborate embellishments.
The 4 special ao dai dresses performed by the Super Mentors Ho Ngoc Ha, Thanh Hang, Huong Giang and Lan Khue were more sophisticated and elaborate in terms of material selection, arrangement and shape to highlight the beauty of these 4 beauties.
The show's 24 contestants also performed Ao Dai designs from designer Linh San's collection.
Based on the beautiful landscapes from North to South, Linh San brings typical Ao Dai designs. The beauty of the North is expressed through the Ao Dai with soft colors, innovative shapes from the traditional Ao Dai, Ao Tu Than. The Central region with pure white color enhances the beauty of Hue Imperial City, Golden Bridge, Cham Tower... The West is chosen with a unique, gentle green color with lotus flowers, floating markets... The remaining designs depict the hustle and bustle of Saigon.
In addition to the four Super Mentors, the 24 contestants of the show also performed Ao Dai designs from the collection of designer Linh San. Using shaping techniques such as waist cinching, shoulder straps, pleating, cut-outs... interwoven with hand-embroidered embellishments, the Ao Dai designs became new.
