Coach Park Hang-seo appears, 'newly emerging giant' Bac Ninh Club wins the match

On the opening day of the 2024 Spring Four-team tournament, Bac Ninh Club faced PVF youth team at Tu Son Stadium (Bac Ninh) on the afternoon of March 10. Notably, Coach Park Hang-seo also took time to watch this match. On the day Coach Park Hang-seo was present at Tu Son Stadium, Bac Ninh Club won 2-1 against PVF Youth Team. With the cheers of thousands of fans, the match was exciting from the first minutes. In the 5th minute, the score was 1-0 in favor of Bac Ninh Club. After a quick pressing and ball-winning situation in the midfield area by his teammates, Pham Van Son received a favorable assist and finished accurately to put the home team ahead.

While Bac Ninh Club was still putting great pressure, PVF youth team unexpectedly scored an equalizer. From a corner kick, Nguyen Van Bach chose a good position and jumped high to make a dangerous header to bring the match back to the starting line.

After the score was 1-1, Bac Ninh FC continued to dominate their opponents. However, it was not until the 29th minute that the attacking efforts of the team coached by Coach Park Hang-seo were rewarded. After a chaotic situation in the PVF youth team's penalty area, Nguyen The Thang swung his leg and fired a beautiful shot to raise the score to 2-1 for Bac Ninh FC.

In the second half, although the two teams played aggressively, no more goals were scored. In the end, Bac Ninh FC won 2-1 against PVF youth team. Coach Park Hang-seo's team will face Hanoi Police youth team on March 14 and Viettel The Cong youth team on March 17.

Former head coach of the Vietnam national team Park Hang-seo has signed a contract to become a senior advisor of Bac Ninh Club from the beginning of 2024. The newly established Bac Ninh Club is expected to prepare to participate in the national second division tournament in 2024, currently led by former SLNA head coach Ngo Quang Truong.
