According to Mr. Nguyen Duc Thang, the referee did not handle the game well, ignoring many dangerous fouls by Hanoi FC when Binh Dinh lost 2-4 at Hang Day Stadium on the evening of July 17.
"I am not satisfied with the referee. In this match, the referee overlooked many dangerous and destructive moves by Hanoi FC players. We lost Pham Van Thanh due to injury, and Ha Duc Chinh also suffered many dangerous tackles," said coach Duc Thang after the loss at Hang Day Stadium.
In this match, Hanoi FC committed 22 fouls, twice as many as Binh Dinh. They received two yellow cards.

But Hanoi FC's other attacking stats also outperformed Binh Dinh. They had 63% possession, 20 shots compared to their opponents' eight. The capital team won 4-2, climbing to second place. They had the same 25 points as Hanoi Police, but lost on goal difference (8 compared to 14).
"We came here with the goal of getting points. We had opportunities, even taking the lead, but lost. Hanoi FC played well today, they took advantage of the opportunities, but we did not. In the second half, my team also retreated a bit deep, allowing Hanoi FC to control the game, play the ball, especially attack the flanks," coach Duc Thang added about the reason for the defeat at Hang Day.
Hanoi FC attacked aggressively from the start of the match, creating consecutive chances. However, Cainon's shot hit the post, while Pham Tuan Hai and Tran Van Kien repeatedly shot over the bar when very close to Dang Van Lam's goal. Despite many attacks but failing to score, the home team had to pay the price with a goal in the 44th minute. Rafaelson jumped high to head in Do Thanh Thinh's corner kick.

In the second half, coach Bandovic sent Bui Hoang Viet Anh onto the field, forcing Hanoi FC to switch to a 3-4-3 formation, attacking the flanks more. They pressed their opponents and successfully turned the game around, winning 4-2 with a hat-trick from Cainon and a goal from Van Vi.
"Hanoi is a strong team, with many achievements, winning the most V-League championships. When facing a team like that, not only us but any team is determined. We know how to control Hanoi, causing them many difficulties. Unfortunately, we did not get any points in this match," coach Duc Thang added about Binh Dinh often playing with passion and determination when facing the capital team.
Losing the match, Binh Dinh is at the bottom of the group of 8 teams competing for the championship, with 19 points, 6 points behind the leader of Hanoi Police. However, coach Duc Thang believes that his team still has a chance to complete the goal of finishing the season in the top 3.
Binh Dinh will play their next match on July 22, against Hanoi Police.
