Accordingly, at 9:15 p.m. on April 13, Binh Duong Provincial Police received a report of a fire at a waste paper storage area belonging to Hop Nhat Packaging Production Company Limited in Vinh Phu Ward, Thuan An City, Binh Duong Province.

The area of the waste paper storage area is about 500m², of which the burning area is about 300m²; the burning material is mainly waste paper. The fire did not cause any human casualties, and the authorities are currently calculating the property damage.

Binh Duong Provincial Police mobilized 9 specialized vehicles and 50 officers and soldiers to urgently arrive at the scene, and coordinated with the local Fire Prevention and Rescue Force, Civil Defense, and VSIP Industrial Park to promptly extinguish the fire in the waste paper storage area, preventing the fire from spreading and becoming larger.

The Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department - Binh Duong Provincial Police recommends that in the current hot weather, people and businesses need to do some things such as strictly controlling heat sources that can cause fire and explosion; especially in the use of electrical systems, regularly checking, preserving and maintaining electrical systems, turning off the power after working hours, in case of equipment that must be maintained regularly, a separate power source must be arranged and have protective equipment.
