On the evening of November 23, GENfest 2024 with the theme Street in the street, took place at The Global City (Thu Duc city, Ho Chi Minh City).

The music night welcomed two Korean artists, Loco and Hwasa, and Vietnamese rappers such as the GERDNANG team (HIEUTHUHAI, HURRYKNG, MANBO), Karik, Andree Right Hand, and Phuc Du. The remaining two artists were Chi Pu and Duong Domic.

Opening the show, artists Phuc Du, Duong Domic, Karik, and Andree Right Hand took turns "treating" the audience with their recent hits.

However, the audience's attention is focused on the hottest rap team today - GERDNANG with three members HIEUTHUHAI, HURRYKNG, MANBO. This trio has been very successful on popular TV shows such as 2 days 1 night, Rap Viet, Anh trai say hi .

GERDNANG members made the stage explode when performing a series of songs that "stormed" the charts such as Exit Sign, See you under the moonlight, Mamma Mia, Quay di quay lai, Ve sat, Mot cong doi viec...

While preparing to perform the song Khong The Say, HIEUTHUHAI humorously shared about the viral clip all over the internet during the program's rehearsal on November 22.

Specifically, a clip of him singing Khong The Say with a choked voice and teary eyes made many viewers speculate that he was having trouble in his love life.

The male rapper said he just had a cold so his voice was a bit hoarse and his face looked a bit tired, hoping the online community would not spread false information.

In particular, in the HIEUTHUHAI program, Trinh was performed live for the first time, a controversial song that has also been popular for a long time. With a strong melody and extremely hot anti-fan "diss" lyrics, Trinh successfully made the stage explode.

Performing for the first time at GENfest , Chi Pu brought an emotional stage, celebrating 15 years of singing. Each performance was carefully prepared by the female singer, making the audience sway and dance to every beat of the music.

Korean rapper Loco "burned up" the stage with songs like Oppa, Ineedyourlove... In particular, he and the audience sang Say yes , the soundtrack of the once-popular movie Moon Lovers .

Loco shared that it has been a long time since he returned to Vietnam. The male rapper always inserts the phrase "Thank you" into his performances as a way to express his sincere gratitude for the enthusiastic support of his fans.

The male rapper continuously "splashed water" on the audience to interact, creating a "burning" feeling like he was at the Waterbomb festival in Korea.

The show ended with the appearance of Mamamoo member, Hwasa. The female singer wore a conical hat to greet the Vietnamese audience, then performed a series of hits: Twit, Maria, Chili...

She said: "Mamamoo has been to Vietnam before, but this is the first time I've performed alone, so I'll try to bring a great performance." The female singer expressed her excitement when she threw away her sunglasses, wanting to take a closer look at the Vietnamese audience.

The show also featured a collaboration between Hwasa and Loco with the song Don't , a song that swept Korean online music charts.

Although Loco had a little sound problem, Hwasa and the male rapper still handled it professionally, even interacting adorably, making the audience excited.

The concert started early but ended quite late because each singer performed and interacted with the audience for 45 minutes, even lasting more than 1 hour with 10 main singers and many special combinations.

GENfest 2024 takes place on November 23 and 24 at The Global City with many experiential activities and special music programs.

The program combines 4 artists Suboi, Wean, Duong Domic, Wxrdie to organize a fan meeting within the framework of the event.

On the evening of November 24, the audience will meet PSY, Suboi, Wxrdie, Quang Hung MasterD, Wean and the return of tlinh, MONO, Wren Evans.
