Pursuant to Decision No. 1221/QD-UBND dated April 7, 2020 of the Provincial People's Committee Chairman approving the "Plan to implement, apply and manage product traceability in Thanh Hoa province until 2025" (hereinafter referred to as Decision 1221/QD-UBND), from the beginning of 2023 to present, Ngoc Lac District People's Committee has implemented the plan, applied and managed product traceability in the district with initial remarkable results.

To effectively implement Decision 1221/QD-UBND, Ngoc Lac district has included the content in meetings, training courses, workshops, conferences to provide information, propaganda, dissemination, and training for management staff, enterprises, production and business households, and people. At the same time, mobilize and guide organizations, production and business households, and enterprises operating in the fields of production and business in the fields of agriculture, forestry, fishery, key and typical commodity products in the district to access and apply digital technologies and TXNG solutions in the fields of production and business.
In addition, the People's Committee of Ngoc Lac district directed the People's Committees of communes and towns in the area to proactively develop plans, integrate them into the unit's operational plans; coordinate with specialized departments, relevant sectors and units to effectively implement assigned tasks according to the plan. At the same time, notify units and organizations, production and business enterprises in the district about organizing training courses on codes, barcodes and TXNG experts. In addition, the People's Committee of the district directed specialized departments, People's Committees of communes and towns to review organizations, enterprises, production and business households, and cooperatives producing and trading in products that meet the selection criteria to implement the application of the TXNG system for products and goods, prioritizing OCOP products; register collective trademarks, key products and goods; Coordinate and propose a list of products and goods of organizations, enterprises, and owners of production and business establishments that meet the criteria of needing to implement product and goods TXNG. Up to now, the total number of production and business establishments in need is 11; the number of TXNG stamps needing support is over 62,000.
In addition to the achieved results, there are still shortcomings, such as the budget for TXNG work and professional work that have not met the requirements; many businesses and consumers still do not fully understand the meaning and nature of TXNG, leading to a lack of compliance with the TXNG process. In addition, businesses still face many difficulties in researching, building and implementing the TXNG system for each specific product and product group. The quality of TXNG application for some products is not detailed, the application only provides some general information in the form of electronic labels, introducing information about the product but not the history of production, processing and distribution of that product. Many TXNG stamps are automatically attached with information, which is a coping measure, causing consumers to lose confidence...
It can be affirmed that the implementation of Decision 1221/QD-UBND has been contributing to promoting the socialization of TXNG activities to serve international integration and improve the effectiveness of State management, ensuring the quality and safety of products and goods on the market. In the coming time, Ngoc Lac district will continue to promote propaganda work to raise people's awareness of the effectiveness of TXNG. Thereby, creating favorable conditions for businesses, organizations and individuals to connect to the product TXNG information portal, helping to raise businesses' awareness of TXNG, awareness of law compliance, building corporate culture, business ethics and corporate social responsibility, healthy competition, sharing and linking cooperation for innovation, improving competitiveness. At the same time, providing essential information and knowledge about TXNG... for businesses as well as consumers.
