More than 1.1km from Ba Son Bridge to Thu Thiem Bridge - the section connecting the Saigon River park square has just been proposed by the Technical Infrastructure Development Center (Thu Duc City People's Committee) to continue investing and renovating into a park called Sang Tao. The renovation is expected to be carried out in the form of socialization, completed before the Lunar New Year 2025. This park complex will create a large-capacity public playground, with many new activities, attracting people and tourists to visit, entertain, and enjoy the river.

On the other side is the park square, which Thu Duc City called for investment from socialized sources, and will be put into use in December 2023. This park is currently a favorite place for many people in the evenings and weekends, with many entertainment and relaxation items such as a series of floating aquatic rafts, fountains, stone parks, flower gardens, love bridges, etc. This place is also a prime location, often chosen by many units to organize events with a large number of attendees.

The Creative Park will be implemented on an existing area of ​​10 hectares, currently the area is natural vegetation, uneven terrain, gradually sloping towards the Saigon River bank.

This area is inherently low-lying, flooded, with a variety of naturally growing plants, weeds, trash and debris.

The Creative Park is located in a prime location, facing the Saigon River. After renovation, the park complex will beautify the entire central area of ​​District 1 and the intersection of Thi Nghe Canal and the Saigon River. This area is currently vacant land and can be immediately deployed to serve the people during the Lunar New Year.

Having an additional park along the Saigon River helps people get closer to the river, through gatherings, enjoying coffee, enjoying the breeze or taking a walk in the fresh, airy air.

According to the plan, the existing road along the Saigon River will be utilized, with running lines created to create a safe corridor for cyclists.

The parking lot is expected to be located near the event area, making it convenient for people to go to the park to play, exercise and participate in events.

In addition, Thu Duc City also proposed to renovate the connecting road at the foot of the bridge, which is currently an unfilled canal and between the two park plots there is a bridge that will be renovated to connect the entire riverside area. The Creative Park has a scale of 10 hectares, along the edge of the bank 100m-120m high.

The contrasting situation between the park square side (facing the Saigon River tunnel) which has been invested in renovation and the remaining side is an empty strip of land.

The last section of the proposed area to be the Creative Park, right next to the riverbank at the foot of Thu Thiem Bridge, still has some residential houses. After being renovated, this place will be a space for organizing events, outdoor activities, camping, picnics, or creative camps... The area will be arranged with lawns, trees, landscape items, drainage systems, street lights and decorative lights...

The river is currently full of garbage, not ensuring hygiene and the city's beauty. The renovation, embellishment, and construction of a riverside park here aims to improve the environment.

On the other hand, garbage also accumulates in the riverbank area under Ba Son bridge and on both sides of the trail.

On the other hand, the road along the land planned for the extended Creative Park has not yet been lit. From afternoon to evening, this place lacks light and few people pass by.
