This is the second consecutive year that VNVC has been honored with this prestigious award. The event once again affirms the quality and trust of millions of customers with the leading large-scale vaccination service system in Vietnam.
The award objectively recognizes the efforts of VNVC over the past time, when overcoming all difficulties, rapidly promoting the development of the system to all regions of the country, especially remote areas so that all children and adults can be vaccinated against the disease. In particular, VNVC's historic achievement as the first unit to successfully purchase and bring more than 30 million doses of AstraZeneca's Covid-19 vaccine to Vietnam, transferring it to the Ministry of Health on a non-profit basis, promptly protecting the frontline against the epidemic, protecting people's lives during the most dangerous outbreak of Covid-19.
VNVC also provided free vaccinations to tens of thousands of medical staff and workers as well as participated in the campaign to collect samples for testing and quickly vaccinate people during the difficult time of the epidemic.
To date, VNVC has nearly 150 vaccination centers in nearly 50 provinces and cities nationwide, providing a full range of vaccines for children and adults, especially vaccines with the same uses as vaccines in the Expanded Immunization Program and new generation vaccines.
The 5-in-1 and 6-in-1 vaccines (to prevent diphtheria, whooping cough, tetanus, hepatitis B, Hib pneumonia/meningitis, polio), measles-mumps-rubella, tuberculosis, and whooping cough-diphtheria-tetanus vaccines have helped to relieve the shortage of vaccines, helping people have more complete access to high-quality vaccines, thereby increasing the vaccination coverage rate in the community.
VNVC focuses on training staff to practice safe vaccination procedures. Currently, VNVC has more than 6,000 doctors, nurses, and medical staff professionally trained in vaccination safety and painless injection skills. Pre-, during-, and post-vaccination procedures are implemented and closely monitored by a high-standard quality management system.
VNVC is the only vaccination center system in the country with a cold chain system (Cold Chain, specialized vaccine preservation system) that meets international standards, with a system of 4 total cold storages and nearly 150 cold storages that meet GSP standards at vaccination centers, a specialized vaccine transportation refrigerated truck system, a professional vaccine preservation cabinet system, transportation, monitoring, and operating equipment... ensuring the highest level of safety and effectiveness for users.
VNVC is also a pioneer in community consultation programs in Vietnam on multiple media such as health talk shows, online exchanges on various platforms such as newspapers, television, social networks... widely and promptly supporting people with scientific and official information about vaccines and vaccination for tens of millions of people.
In addition, VNVC also strives to fulfill its social responsibilities, participating in meaningful social charity activities such as: donating tens of thousands of Covid-19 test kits and medical equipment to medical units and field hospitals; sponsoring comprehensive health check-ups for patients with Agent Orange (dioxin); supporting medicine and medical supplies for people in the central region during storms and floods; donating hundreds of bicycles to poor students who overcome difficulties; donating thousands of cows to farmers, etc.
VNVC is the first unit to implement interest-free installment payments, "vaccinate first, pay later, no interest worries" to help people get fully vaccinated in the difficult economic context after the pandemic.
In 2023, VNVC will continue to carry out a series of major campaigns to improve people's knowledge about vaccination and vaccines. VNVC also launched the "Year of Action for the Community Protected by Vaccines" with a series of activities that attract attention and create a spread such as: donating millions of doses of influenza, hepatitis B, tuberculosis, tetanus vaccines... to people; publishing the publication "Vaccination for Life", providing quite complete and comprehensive information about vaccination; organizing the contest "Vaccination - Untold Stories", organizing the contest "I draw a vaccination hero with VNVC"...
