After graduating from the University of Oregon, Jensen Huang and his wife moved to San Jose, California. The Mansion Global website reported that the house was about 1,500 square feet with 3 bedrooms, the purchase price was not disclosed. In 1988, Mr. Jensen Huang sold the house for $185,000. His family moved to a nearby house with a larger area (2,500 square feet and 4 bedrooms) for $338,000.
Jensen Huang lived in San Jose when he started his first tech jobs at AMD and LSI Logic. In 1992, he earned a master's degree in electrical engineering from Stanford University. A year later, he and his partner co-founded Nvidia.
He once shared that building Nvidia was a million times harder than he imagined. In 1999, Nvidia held an IPO. The founder of this corporation also sold his house in San Jose for $500,000 in 2002.

Real estate brokerage Hawai'i Life revealed that the Nvidia chairman's home is one of the largest in Wailea, a luxury resort that includes several golf courses, hotels and shopping malls.

In 2017, Jensen Huang purchased a mansion on San Francisco’s Gold Coast for $38 million through Riva LLC, a company managed by a tax attorney who oversees the finances of the Jen-Hsun & Lori Huang Foundation.
The 1,000-square-foot villa is located in Pacific Heights and overlooks the Golden Gate Bridge. It is considered one of the best places to live in California.
Architect Bill Campbell of Marble Management told The Wall Street Journal that the limestone home took nearly four years to build. Completed in 2017, the mansion is valued at around $40 million. The mansion is designed to include seven bedrooms, two wine rooms, an outdoor kitchen, elevator, movie theater and gym.
