In 2023, the total production value at current prices is estimated to reach VND 4,182 billion, an increase of 9.34% compared to 2022. Accumulated 540 hectares of rice land, the cultivated area reached 8,297 hectares, food output is estimated at 30,183 tons (an increase of 6.96% compared to the previous year); total livestock herd of 10,802 buffaloes and cows, 10,300 pigs, 291 thousand poultry; fishing and aquaculture output reached 6,116 tons.

In 2023, Ky Anh town has achieved many important results in the fields of socio-economic development. Total budget revenue in the area by November 30 reached 329 billion VND, reaching 126% of the plan assigned by the province, 93% of the plan assigned by the town. Disbursement of investment capital by November 30 reached 398 billion VND, reaching more than 72% of the plan, expected to reach 100% of the assigned capital plan by January 31, 2024 (end of budget adjustment period).
Industrial production regained growth momentum. Unit 1 of Vung Ang I Thermal Power Plant, after nearly 2 years of inactivity, resumed operation in August 2023; production of key products (steel, electricity) achieved a good growth rate; key projects showed many positive signals, Vung Ang II Thermal Power Project completed 70% of the plan, ensuring the set progress...
The construction of new rural areas and civilized urban areas continued to achieve many important results: Ky Ha commune achieved advanced new rural standards; had 17 model gardens, 6 products achieved 3-star OCOP standards; completed 3/9 criteria groups, 12/20 sub-criteria in civilized urban construction. 170 new enterprises and branches were established with a total registered capital of 1,200 billion VND, reaching 108% of the plan; 4 projects were granted investment certificates with a total amount of 90 billion VND.
2024 is a breakthrough year to implement and strive to complete the 5-year plan 2021 - 2025 and build Ky Anh town into a city. Therefore, Ky Anh town continues to maintain growth in all areas with goals such as: Average income per capita of 60 million VND/person/year; growth rate of production value of 8.96%; budget revenue in the area of 370 billion VND; rate of trained workers of 82%; creation of new jobs for 2,200 people; poverty rate of less than 2%; near-poor household rate of less than 3.5%...
