Hau Giang organizes activities to celebrate the 79th anniversary of the Traditional Day of the Information and Communications Industry

Mr. Nguyen Hong Hai, Deputy Director of the Department, Chairman of the Department of Information and Communications' Trade Union presented souvenir flags to the teams participating in the Sports Festival.

The sports festival took place with 04 competitions, including: Men's and women's volleyball, lemon passing, and piggy bank smashing. Results, men's and women's volleyball: First prize went to Hau Giang Newspaper, second prize went to Viettel Hau Giang, and third prize went to Hau Giang Provincial Post Office , Hau Giang Radio and Television Station.

Lemon-passing with a spoon: First prize went to the joint team of the Provincial Post Office and VNPT Hau Giang, second prize went to the joint team of the Department of Information and Communications - Hau Giang Radio and Television, and third prize went to the joint team of Hau Giang Newspaper and Viettel Hau Giang, Mobifone Hau Giang and FPT Hau Giang. The blindfolded piggy bank smashing event did not award any prizes because the athletes had already received the money placed inside the piggy bank as a reward.

On the same afternoon, at the Department of Information and Communications, a meeting was held for officials, civil servants and employees of the Information and Communications sector, with a cooking activity under the theme "Connecting Love". Each participating team consisted of 4 members (2 men, 2 women) demonstrating their ingenuity and housekeeping knowledge to complete the competition dish within 120 minutes. Results: First prize went to the Department of Information and Communications - Hau Giang Radio and Television Station, second prize went to Mobifone Hau Giang - FPT Hau Giang, the joint team of the Provincial Post Office - VNPT Hau Giang and Hau Giang Newspaper - Viettel Hau Giang shared third prize.
