The number of retail stores has increased nearly fourfold compared to the first year. As of December 2023, UNIQLO operates 22 stores in 4 provinces and cities across the country, including Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, Hai Phong, Binh Duong and an online store. Accordingly, by 2022, the proportion of Made in Vietnam products in domestic stores will be more than 50%.
In 2021, UNIQLO officially launched its online store UNIQLO.com, which has reached 2,500,000 downloads in just 2 years. Earlier this year, UNIQLO continued to deploy its automated payment system in some major stores to support a faster, more accurate and convenient payment process.
The production of UNIQLO products by Fast Retailing Group - UNIQLO's parent company, has indirectly created about 240,000 jobs for local workers. At stores, UNIQLO trains about 1,000 employees, of which more than 70% of store managers are Vietnamese.
After 4 years of operation, UNIQLO has implemented many community support programs. Notably, RE.UNIQLO - collects used clothes, sorts them and donates them to those who really need them, creating a more meaningful life cycle for clothes; or the project "Bringing clean drinking water to the Mekong Delta", contributing to protecting the health of nearly 3,000 students and teachers who are seriously affected in saline areas...
