Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan, Deputy Director of Noi Bai Airport, said that these days the airport is organizing the "Spring Gift" program, including: "calligraphers" giving calligraphy and traditional music performances. This is an activity to show gratitude to passengers and to honor and spread Vietnamese culture.
The program is held at both terminals T1 and T2 from February 14 to February 15 (the 5th and 6th days of Tet) and is receiving much attention and interest from passengers flying through here.
An international guest excitedly received the letter and said: "Although I have been to many beautiful and modern airports around the world, when I came to Noi Bai (Vietnam), I found you guys different. Vietnamese people have a rich cultural tradition."
A representative of Noi Bai airport said that today is also the last day of Tet holiday before returning to work, the transport volume through the airport recorded about 550 flights with nearly 90 thousand passengers (both international and domestic).
During the 7-day Lunar New Year holiday, it is estimated that Noi Bai airport served about 3,500 flights with more than 550,000 passengers arriving and departing in absolute safety.
The airport will continue to apply enhanced Security Level 1 measures from February 6 until February 16.
