Accordingly, at 3:00 p.m. today (February 4), while patrolling the public lobby area at the domestic arrivals terminal, Mr. Bui Hoang Son, a security officer of the Domestic Security and Order Team, discovered a black handbag of unknown owner near column A10.

The male security officer at Tan Son Nhat airport quickly reported the incident to the Team Command to carry out the inspection steps and make a record according to regulations.

At the time of checking the bag, there were many valuable assets inside including more than 235 million VND, 1 Macbook, 2 e-readers, a passport in the name of Bui Hoai Nam, and a Vietnam Airlines membership card.

Tan Son Nhat airport security proactively contacted Vietnam Airlines (VNA) to verify passenger information and track down the phone number.

Through the verification process, the security force was able to contact the owner of the bag. At this time, Mr. Bui Hoai Nam was still unaware that he had left his belongings behind.

After confirming his identity, the passenger went to complete the procedures to receive all his belongings. The male passenger expressed his joy and expressed his gratitude for the noble gesture and high sense of responsibility of Mr. Bui Hoang Son and the entire security force of Tan Son Nhat airport.
