Hundreds of specialties introduced at the festival promoting mountainous products of Quang Nam province

On July 5, the Department of Industry and Trade of Quang Nam organized a festival to promote mountainous products of Quang Nam province 2023 in Bac Tra My district.

The festival attracted over 80 booths with hundreds of products from more than 30 enterprises, craft villages, OCOP subjects, typical rural industrial products, and start-up products.

In particular, many booths display processed products of Cao Son Ngoc Que region such as: cinnamon bark, cinnamon sticks, cinnamon essential oil, cinnamon spice powder, herbal cinnamon tea...

80 booths participating in the festival displayed many specialties and typical mountainous products of Quang Nam province.

This is an event organized by Quang Nam province to introduce the economic - cultural - social achievements of the mountainous districts in the province to the people and domestic and foreign tourists. Thereby, promoting the brand, supporting the development of production and consumption of mountainous products of Quang Nam province.

Due to the unique soil, terrain, and climate, many mountainous areas of Quang Nam have unique products with high nutritional and medicinal values ​​that bring high economic benefits. Examples include Ngoc Linh ginseng, green Lim mushrooms, Tra My cinnamon, etc., which have been registered for "geographical indications" to enhance product protection.

Many products made from Ngoc Linh ginseng are also promoted.

To promote products to the people, Quang Nam province has supported people and craft villages to participate in festivals and exhibitions both domestically and internationally. This festival is an opportunity for each mountainous district to introduce to tourists the quintessential products and traditional products typical of their homeland.

This festival also creates conditions for farmers to increase communication, learn, improve understanding of product promotion and advertising, thereby expanding the product consumption market.

The festival is held from July 4 to July 6. On this occasion, Bac Tra My district also celebrated the 20th anniversary of the district's re-establishment (June 20, 2003 - June 20, 2023).

Muong people's rice wine is a famous specialty in Bac Tra My district.
