Final round of the 2023 “Young Consumers in E-commerce” Contest Department of E-commerce and Digital Economy: Warning of 33 information security vulnerabilities in Microsoft products

The final round of the "Digital Business Student 2023" competition organized by the Vietnam E-commerce Association (VECOM) and the Network of E-commerce Training Universities (VECOMNET) was recently held at Thuy Loi University (Hanoi).

Entering its second year, the competition has received a lot of response from more than 400 registered teams from more than 70 universities across the country.

The competition consists of 4 categories: Online sales (128 teams), Digital marketing (90 teams), Digital business ideas (94 teams) and Green e-commerce - quickly reduce plastic waste (88 teams). After two rounds, the Organizing Committee also selected first, second and third prizes for each category.

The overall championship prize went to the E-force team of the National Economics University with a cash prize of 50 million VND and gifts from the company. The runner-up prize went to the Future team of the Water Resources University, with a cash prize of 20 million VND and gifts from the company. The third prize went to the Ecoport team of the University of Transport with a cash prize of 10 million VND and gifts from the company.

The final championship prize belongs to the E-force team of the National Economics University.

According to VECOM, the 2023 Digital Business Student Competition is a golden opportunity for universities, agencies, organizations, and businesses related to the digital economy and e-commerce to have a comprehensive picture of formal human resource training for the field. The competition also marks a turning point in formal training activities at universities on e-commerce and digital business in our country.

"It can be said that this is a large-scale and influential competition in the e-commerce and digital economy student community. The Vietnam E-commerce Association and the network of e-commerce training institutions hope that next year the competition will become a useful playground for students who are eager to learn to test their abilities, be creative and make breakthroughs in their studies and work" - said a VECOM representative.

In particular, at the final gala, the Vietnam E-commerce and Digital Economy Student Clubs Alliance was officially launched with more than 20 clubs across the country. The alliance aims to enhance opportunities for connection, exchange, and cooperation between clubs in the alliance, promoting the operational efficiency of each club; At the same time, helping businesses quickly introduce their products, solutions, and technologies to a large number of students.

According to VECOM, in August 2022, the Vietnam E-commerce Association and the Network of E-commerce Training Universities decided to organize the annual Digital Business Student Competition.

This competition marks a turning point in formal training activities at universities on e-commerce and digital business in our country. For the first time, thousands of students can "practice" business on leading e-commerce platforms such as Sapo, Haravan, LadiPage, Tik Tok, Lazada, Droppii, ECG Vietnam.....

In addition, many prominent businesses in the field of digital marketing and startup investment such as VinaLink, Accesstrade, Do Ventures, BambuUp, Iviet, Meta Ecom, BSH, Gotadi, Fado, VnPost, Netco, VietGuys, NPAP -UNPD... have accompanied and provided advice and support to the teams throughout the competition. Businesses that are doing business online such as BSH Insurance, Grab. In particular, domain name.vn (VNNIC) and many other businesses have introduced their products and services to the teams, helping them grasp information about the products so that they can "combat" successfully.
