Thousands of people came to Sam Mountain to watch the film crew "Small Hamlet Story"

After many years of preparation, director Phi Khanh has officially started filming the movie "Small Neighborhood Story", starring the child actor couple Hao Khang and Phuong Vy, along with actress Gia Linh and actor Nguyen Lam, who studied film in Korea.

The film crew was present at Ba Chua Xu Temple and Ba Chua Xu Spiritual Cultural Tourism Area - Sam Mountain Cable Car, to select some images from the Sam Mountain National Tourism Area, with landmarks: Ba Chua Xu Temple, Thoai Ngoc Hau Tomb, Co Nam Temple, Hang Pagoda, Chau Doc Church, 81m high Buddha statue, twin Peace Jade Buddhas on top of Sam Mountain... for the film's settings.

From the cable car, you can see the whole view of Sam mountain peak, admire the 81m high meditating Buddha statue, considered the largest Buddha statue carved into a mountain in Vietnam, under construction, expected to be completed in 2025.

Thousands of people from Ho Chi Minh City and neighboring areas, upon hearing the news that the film crew was present at Ba Chua Xu Temple and Ba Chua Xu Spiritual Cultural Tourism Area - Sam Mountain Cable Car, came together to Chau Doc City.

After paying respect to Ba Chua Xu, everyone stopped by to visit, take pictures with the film crew, take the cable car to the top of Sam mountain to pay respect to the Jade Buddha, ask for blessings and check-in many beautiful scenes here.

Director Phi Khanh said the film crew will record sunsets, full moons, and many other beautiful scenes at the Ba Chua Xu Spiritual Cultural Tourism Area - Sam Mountain Cable Car.

Along with that, the delegation will record the images of the late night festival held every night at the tourist area, such as: Water music associated with entertainment activities in the West, singing traditional songs, folk games, performed by the Chau Doc 3 lotto troupe, to bring spiritual food, contributing to the cultural activities in the Via Ba Chua Xu festival this year.

Currently, Ba Chua Xu Spiritual Cultural Tourism Area - Sam Mountain Cable Car has received many invitations for cooperation from film crews.

Among them, there are also Korean film crews contacting to choose the setting for art projects.
