On the morning of May 14, 2024, Delegation Group No. 12 of the City People's Council led by Comrade Nguyen Dinh Chuyen - Member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the Inspection Committee of the Hai Phong City Party Committee, conducted supervision of the People's Committee of Tien Lang district on the management, production and supply of clean water in rural areas in the district in 2023 and the first 4 months of 2024.

Attending the monitoring session were leaders of the City People's Council Committees and a number of related departments and branches. Representatives of the Department of Health included Dr. Tran Quoc Trinh - Deputy Director of the Department of Health; Dr. Dong Trung Kien - Deputy Director in charge of the City Center for Disease Control.
According to the Plan, the Delegation conducted a field survey at Khoi Nghia Water Plant of Hung Dao Clean Water Joint Stock Company and Kien Thiet Water Plant of Tien Lang District Aquatic Products and Environmental Services Cooperative.
It is known that in the recent past, the District People's Committee has also strengthened the inspection of the operation of mini water plants in the area under the direction of the City Party Committee, the City People's Committee, and the District Party Committee. However, recently, the quality of water supplied by mini water plants has not been guaranteed, leading to many complaints and petitions from the people.
In order to promptly overcome the situation of water supply quality not meeting current standards, the District People's Committee issued Official Dispatch No. 967/UBND-NN dated April 5, 2024 on strengthening the management of the operation of mini water plants in the area, overcoming the situation of water supply quality not meeting current standards.
Accordingly, the District People's Committee requires mini water plants to strictly implement the instructions of the City Party Committee, the City People's Committee, the District Party Committee, and the District People's Committee on internal inspection, water quality and hygiene; establish records to monitor and manage water hygiene and quality according to regulations; properly implement the information and reporting regime on internal inspection test results; water quality analysis results to the management unit, local authorities and Tien Lang District Medical Center; strengthen technical measures to thoroughly overcome the situation of poor water quality; commit to ensuring the quality of water supplied to people; only supply water to people when the quality of clean water meets the prescribed standards; take responsibility for any recommendations and reflections on poor water quality supplied to people .
