Hai Duong approved 50 people to quit their jobs according to Decree 178 and 67

On March 31, the Provincial People's Committee approved a list of 50 civil servants, public employees and workers who are eligible for early retirement and leave their jobs to enjoy benefits and policies according to Decree No. 178/2024/ND-CP and Decree No. 67/2025/ND-CP of the Government. Of these, 45 people retired early and 5 people left their jobs.

According to the approved list, of the 50 civil servants, public employees and workers who are eligible for early retirement or policy benefits, 13 are from the Party and mass organizations; the rest are government officials.

The Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Home Affairs to notify agencies, units and organizations with subjects retiring before the age to implement the regime and policies for the subjects in a timely manner, ensuring regulations.

The Department of Finance shall preside over and coordinate with agencies, units, and organizations with early retirement beneficiaries to synthesize funds and allocate funds to pay subsidies to beneficiaries of the policy.

Directors of the Departments of Home Affairs, Finance and heads of relevant agencies, units and organizations are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of subjects, funding and policies according to current laws.

Previously, on December 31, 2024, the Government issued Decree No. 178/2024/ND-CP on policies and regimes for cadres, civil servants, public employees, workers and armed forces in implementing the organizational arrangement of the political system. On March 15, 2025, the Government issued Decree No. 67/2025/ND-CP amending and supplementing a number of articles of Decree No. 178/2024/ND-CP.
