Hai Duong approves investment policy for logistics project worth nearly 1,700 billion VND
Hai Duong Provincial People's Committee has approved the investment policy and approved the investor to implement the project of Logistics Service Center, Petroleum and Cargo Port, Petroleum Depot, and Commercial Service Area in Kinh Mon Town.
According to Decision 501/QD-UBND of Hai Duong province, the project of Logistics Service Center, Petroleum and Goods Port, Petroleum Depot, Commercial Service Area has a land area of about 36 hectares. The project is located in Minh Hoa commune, Kinh Mon town, Hai Duong province.
The total preliminary investment capital of the project is 1,687 billion VND. Hai Duong Provincial People's Committee approved the investor to implement the project as Duc Duong Company Limited. The project's operating period is 50 years, from the date Hai Duong Provincial People's Committee approved the investment policy and simultaneously approved the investor to implement the project.
The project will build a logistics service center providing comprehensive and high-quality services in the delivery and storage of goods, supervision of shipments, customs services, with priority given to container ports, import and export goods, agricultural products, bulk materials (coal, ore, construction materials of all kinds...). The scale of goods cleared through customs is about 70,000 TEU/year.

Construction of an inland waterway port that can receive ships with a capacity of less than 3,000 tons to serve the import and export of petroleum and goods in the supply chain of petroleum depots and logistics service centers; loading and unloading, and transiting goods between roads and waterways. According to the decision, investment will be made in the construction of an inland waterway port consisting of 03 wharves to transport and load and unload goods and petroleum, with a total throughput capacity of 2.0 million tons/year.
The project also invests in building a 48,000 m3 petroleum depot to store and supply petroleum for the petroleum consumption needs in Hai Duong province and neighboring provinces. At the same time, it meets market demand, ensures energy security and contributes to stabilizing the domestic petroleum market.
The construction scale of the mixed-use commercial service area includes: office area, commercial services, restaurants, accommodation services, etc., with a total area of about 51,205 m2 to meet the actual needs when the logistics center is in operation and the surrounding area.
The project is expected to be completed and put into operation in the fourth quarter of 2027.
Hai Duong Provincial People's Committee requests investors to implement investment projects in accordance with regulations; comply with legal regulations on investment, land, construction, environment, dykes, flood and storm prevention, tax, fire and explosion prevention and control and related laws during the implementation of investment projects; and be subject to inspection and supervision by competent State agencies.
