Speaking at the conference, National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue praised Ha Tinh province for paying great attention, focusing on doing well, taking the lead in planning work and being the second province in the country to have the Provincial Planning for the period 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050 approved by the Prime Minister. At the conference, witnessed by Central leaders, ministries, branches and delegates, Ha Tinh Provincial Party Secretary Hoang Trung Dung and Provincial People's Committee Chairman Vo Trong Hai presented investment approval decisions to 14 investors with 15 projects, with a total registered capital of more than VND9,600 billion.
Memorandums of understanding on investment cooperation were granted to 25 investors with projects in the fields of: real estate - tourism - resorts, industrial park/cluster infrastructure, trade and services, energy - clean water, education, agriculture..., with a total registered investment capital of over 219,000 billion VND.

Previously, on November 8, 2022, Deputy Prime Minister Le Van Thanh, on behalf of the Prime Minister, signed Decision No. 1363/QD-TTg approving the Planning of Ha Tinh province for the period 2021 - 2030, with a vision to 2050.
Accordingly, the general goal set by the Ha Tinh provincial planning for the 2021 - 2030 period is to build Ha Tinh province into one of the development poles of the North Central and Central coastal regions, striving to become a fairly developed province by 2030, in the group of 20 provinces and cities with the highest gross regional domestic product (GRDP) in the country; develop the fields of culture, society, national defense, security, social order and safety, and foreign affairs in a stable and sustainable manner.

The planning identifies major orientations to create development breakthroughs, including:
Four key industries: Steel industry, supporting industry, post-steel manufacturing and electricity production; agriculture, forestry and fishery; logistics services; tourism.
Three urban centers: The urban center around Ha Tinh city, in which Ha Tinh city is the nucleus and satellite towns connecting Ha Tinh city, including: Thach Ha town, Cam Xuyen town and Loc Ha town.
The northern urban center is Hong Linh town, connected with Tien Dien town, Xuan An town, Nghi Xuan new urban area and surrounding areas.
Southern urban center with the core being Ky Anh town linked to Vung Ang Economic Zone and surrounding areas.
Three economic corridors : Coastal plain economic corridor linked to National Highway 1, North-South expressway and coastal road.
Economic corridor along National Highway 8 from Hong Linh town to Cau Treo International Border Gate Economic Zone.
The economic corridor of the midlands and western mountainous areas is linked to the Ho Chi Minh road.
A dynamic growth center: Vung Ang Economic Zone with the core being the Formosa Steel Complex and the deep-water port cluster of Vung Ang - Son Duong.

Ha Tinh strives to have an urbanization rate of 45% by 2030, with the whole province having 2 type II urban areas (Ha Tinh City and Ky Anh City), 2 type III urban areas, 12 type IV urban areas and type V urban areas... In addition to the industrial parks in Vung Ang Economic Zone and Cau Treo International Border Gate Economic Zone, 5 industrial parks with a total area of about 1,287 hectares and 45 industrial clusters with a total area of about 1,892 hectares by 2030 are planned.
By 2030, Ha Tinh will build 4 logistics centers, including: 2 centers in Vung Ang Economic Zone, 1 center in Cau Treo International Border Gate Economic Zone and 1 center in Duc Tho district.
