Today, July 10, a delegation of Hanoi City led by Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee Nguyen Van Phong visited and worked in Quang Tri on the cooperation situation between Hanoi City and Quang Tri Province in the past time and some key tasks in the coming time. At the meeting, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ha Sy Dong reported on the results achieved in the cooperation situation between Hanoi City and Quang Tri Province in the past time. Continuing to implement the contents of the Cooperation Agreement between the Standing Committee of the Hanoi Party Committee and the Standing Committee of the Quang Tri Provincial Party Committee signed on June 14, 2019, Notice No. 328-TB/TU dated September 9, 2022 on the conclusion of the Cooperation Conference between Quang Tri Province and Hanoi City in 2022 and the following years, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee directed the Party Committee of the Provincial People's Committee to direct the Provincial People's Committee to develop an implementation plan.

The implementation of projects supported by Hanoi City has been effectively implemented by Quang Tri Province. Specifically, the Provincial People's Committee issued Decision No. 483/QD-UBND dated March 7, 2024 approving the Feasibility Study Report on investment in the construction of the project "Renovation and upgrading of Hanoi City Martyrs' Cemetery at Truong Son National Martyrs' Cemetery" with a total investment of VND 69,025 billion; the province is currently implementing it.

Quang Tri Provincial People's Committee organized the "Peace Wish" Symbol Creation Contest in Quang Tri. After 3 rounds of competition, 5 works were selected in the top 5; so far, the editing work has been completed according to the comments of the art council. Currently, a plan for the display layout has been developed to post for public comments according to the contest rules; Hanoi will propose a typical and meaningful work at the Hien Luong - Ben Hai National Special Historical Site.

The fields of trade; culture, sports, tourism; labor, war invalids and social affairs; press and propaganda... have been implemented by Quang Tri province and Hanoi city with many remarkable results. Regarding the implementation of the breeding cow model supported by Hanoi city, after a period of trial raising of 100 cows transferred by Hanoi city, the herd of 100 cows has developed normally.

Deputy Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee Nguyen Van Phong congratulated Quang Tri province on its outstanding achievements in recent times, especially the successful opening of the 2024 Festival for Peace, the announcement of the Provincial Planning for the period 2021 - 2030, with a vision to 2050, the groundbreaking of Quang Tri Airport... along with many other development opportunities and potentials, and believed that Quang Tri would have strong breakthroughs in development in all fields.
