At noon on July 7, social networks appeared with images and information about a hot air balloon flying from Son Tay town crashing into an empty lot in Tay Dang town, Ba Vi ( Hanoi ).

Regarding this information, a representative of the People's Committee of Tay Dang town (Ba Vi, Hanoi) said that the incident occurred at around 10:00 a.m. on July 6. At that time, a hot air balloon departed from Son Tay carrying 9 people on a tour to promote tourism , and when it reached Tay Dang, it encountered an accident and had to make an emergency landing.

According to the representative of Tay Dang town People's Committee, there was no hot air balloon crash, but the vehicle landed due to a technical error.

The balloon landing area is an empty lot adjacent to Provincial Road 412 in Tay Dang town. This location is about 10km from the starting point by road.

"The hot air balloon was licensed to fly by the authorities. After the incident, all 9 people on the balloon were safe," said a representative of the Tay Dang town People's Committee.
