The 12th Latin American Music Night contributes to strengthening solidarity, friendship and mutual understanding between the Vietnamese people and the people of Latin American countries.
On the evening of December 15, at Thang Loi Hotel, the Hanoi Union of Friendship Organizations in collaboration with the Vietnam-Cuba Friendship Association of Hanoi and the Embassies of Latin American countries in Vietnam organized the 12th Latin American Music Night.
After 11 times of organization, "Latin American Music Night" has attracted a large number of participants, not only in the Latin American community but also Vietnamese and international friends who love music, culture, especially hot and seductive Latin dances.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Ky, Chairman of the Hanoi Union of Friendship Organizations, said that the 12th Latin American Music Night was organized to promote and introduce the culture of some countries in the Latin American region, and also to welcome the New Year 2025.
The program also contributes to strengthening solidarity, friendship and mutual understanding between the Vietnamese people and the people of Latin American countries.
This is a meaningful activity demonstrating the solidarity and attachment of the Vietnamese people and the people of Hanoi to thank friends from Latin America and close 2024 with many exciting people-to-people diplomacy activities, welcoming the new year 2025 with many new successes.
At the music night, Mr. Marcos A. Bednarski, the newly appointed Argentine Ambassador to Vietnam, said that Latin America is famous for its hospitality and optimistic spirit - similarities that are very valuable in Vietnamese society.
Mr. Marcos A. Bednarski affirmed: “The organization of the Latin American Music Night is a clear demonstration of the importance of the Latin American region to Vietnam as well as the attraction that Latin music creates. In 2024, the Latin American region is honored to welcome high-ranking leaders of Vietnam. We are delighted with the strong development of exchange activities and expect that in the coming year, the relationship between the two sides will become increasingly solid and developed."
The music night consists of two parts, of which part 1 is performed by professional and non-professional artists from Latin American Embassies, Associations and member organizations of the Hanoi Union of Friendship Organizations.
The dances created a vibrant and attractive atmosphere, such as: Mashup " Hey Hola " of the Vietnam-Cuba Friendship Association of Havico Education Group; Chachacha dance of members of the UNESCO Association of Hanoi; " La Vida Sin Ti " of the Vietnam-Cuba Friendship Association of Hanoi University...
After the special art performances, the delegates participated in a free dance program to vibrant music and enjoyed Latin American food and drinks in a friendly atmosphere./.
