Hanoi invests more than 840 billion to build a 50m wide road in Dan Phuong

The Hanoi City People's Council has just approved the investment policy to build N8 road, the section from Lien khu 2 road to the middle of Hoang Quoc Viet extended road in Dan Phuong district.

Accordingly, the 2.8km long road is invested by the People's Committee of Dan Phuong district. The roadbed cross-section is 50m, including a road surface width of 30m, a sidewalk of 16m and a median strip (4m).

The main investment items include site clearance, foundation, road surface, sidewalks, trees, traffic safety, water supply and drainage, etc.

Preliminary total investment is more than 840 billion VND, implemented in the period 2024-2027.

According to the Hanoi People's Committee, the investment in the route aims to gradually complete the regional traffic system according to the plan, reduce traffic volume on existing routes. At the same time, improve people's travel conditions and connect the resettlement area with existing routes and surrounding works.

In addition, investing in the route is a prerequisite for the economic - cultural - social development of Dan Phuong district in particular and Hanoi city in general as well as meeting the standards for establishing a district under the direction of the city.
