(Dan Tri) - The Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee requested relevant units to thoroughly handle violations and disputes that show signs of creating hot spots between investors and management boards of buildings in the Goldmark City urban area.
The Hanoi People's Committee has just issued Document 528 to the City Police, the Department of Construction and the People's Committee of Bac Tu Liem District regarding the inspection and settlement of petitions at the Goldmark City urban area (at 136 Ho Tung Mau Street, Bac Tu Liem District) and handling of public disorder in apartment buildings.
According to the document, recently, the Hanoi People's Committee has received many petitions from the Sapphire Apartment Management Board; the Ruby Building Management Board (in the Goldmark City urban area) reflecting violations by Viet Han Trading Joint Stock Company - the investor (Viet Han Company) intentionally damaging property, causing disorder; not implementing the direction of the State agency (Conclusion No. 45 of the Inspectorate of the Ministry of Construction; Notice No. 1121 of the People's Committee of Bac Tu Liem District).

Viet Han Trading Joint Stock Company also filed a "call for help and denunciation" for disturbing public order. In addition, the petitions mentioned the phenomenon of investors, residents, and organizations using apartment buildings arbitrarily cutting off electricity and water, affecting daily life, disturbing public order, and in some cases leading to violations of the law.
After consideration, the Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee assigned the Chairman of the Bac Tu Liem District People's Committee to preside over the implementation of the city's directives with the Department of Construction and related units, and conclude the inspection on the above content. On that basis, thoroughly handle violations and disputes that show signs of creating hot spots; do not let the situation of petitions going beyond the level continue.
The Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee assigned the Hanoi Police to direct and grasp the situation of organizations and individuals arbitrarily cutting off electricity and water in the area; preside over research and advise the Hanoi People's Committee on sanctions.
"Do not allow situations that cause insecurity, disorder, or law violations in high-rise apartment buildings and other mixed-use buildings. Report to the City People's Committee before March 31," the document stated.
