(Dan Tri) - On the morning of January 1, the weather in Hanoi was sunny and cool. Many people flocked to the Hoan Kiem Lake walking street to take pictures, walk around, and enjoy the New Year breeze, including many young people gracefully wearing Ao Dai.
On the first day of 2025, Hanoi had bright sunshine and cool weather, favorable for many people to go out and have fun during the holidays (Photo: Ngoc Luu). Along the streets around Hoan Kiem Lake such as Dinh Tien Hoang, Trang Tien, Hang Khay, Hang Bai, Dinh Le... are packed with people and young people having fun welcoming spring and taking souvenir photos (Photo: Thanh Dong). From early morning, the Hanoi Moi newspaper headquarters was chosen by many young people as the place to take photos in ao dai on the first day of the new year (Photo: Ngoc Luu). The Hanoi Moi newspaper bulletin board is indispensable in the photo-taking list of the capital's youth. "I love the bustling atmosphere of an old town imbued with the traditional features of old Hanoi. In the new year, I hope my family will have good health and I will be successful in life and study," Ngoc shared (Photo: Thanh Dong). Hien (20 years old, Dong Da district) woke up early to put on makeup at 5am to prepare for the photo shoot on New Year's Day. "This morning the sun was beautiful so it was very convenient for taking photos. My friend and I took more than 4 hours of photos around Hoan Kiem Lake and will continue to move to the pagodas in the neighboring area to complete the photo shoot on New Year's Day," Hien shared (Photo: Thanh Dong). In addition to groups of friends using their phones to capture beautiful moments, many people also spend a lot of money hiring professional crews to take their own photos (Photo: Thanh Dong). Ho Quynh (23 years old, Bac Tu Liem district) traveled nearly 20km to Hoan Kiem Lake to join in the bustling, vibrant atmosphere of the first day of the new year. To prepare for the photo shoot, Quynh brought 2 outfits including a yếm and ao dai to change into. "I hope that in the new year I will achieve many successes in life, and my family will be peaceful and healthy," Quynh shared (Photo: Ngoc Luu). After taking pictures around Hoan Kiem Lake, Thuy's group (18 years old, Cau Giay district) continued to move to Ta Hien street to "catch the trend" of taking early Tet photos. It is known that before that, there was a friend in the group who went to countdown at 3:30 am but still woke up early in the morning to prepare for the outing. "I feel the Tet atmosphere is getting closer and closer, more clearly with many girls wearing Ao Dai. Each person in our group did their own makeup and bought Ao Dai at a cost of 300,000 VND", Thuy said (Photo: Ngoc Luu). "When I get a satisfactory photo and share it on social media, I often receive many compliments. Or simply not to miss a beautiful moment that everyone in the city is enjoying," Thuy added (Photo: Thanh Dong). This afternoon, the number of tourists visiting and having fun at Hoan Kiem Lake walking street continued to increase (Photo: Ngoc Luu).
