With modern technology combining Nomion digital identification, NFC chip and “blind box,” the Imperial Archaeological Project promises to help enhance the value of cultural heritage in the ancient capital of Hue.
On December 18, the Hue Monuments Conservation Center, Thua Thien-Hue, in collaboration with Comicola Company and Phygital Labs, launched an experience area and introduced the Archaeological Capital project at the communal house area, the Interior Palace, and the Hue Imperial City.
The event marks an important step forward in preserving and promoting the cultural heritage values of Hue as well as the country. This is a pioneering project in combining Nomion identification technology solutions with NFC chips in the field of digital physics and heritage, opening up a model of exploiting heritage copyright to develop the cultural industry, attracting the attention of young people and the community that loves history and culture.
The Imperial Capital Archaeology Project is a "blind box" collectible toy project inspired by the four treasures of the ancient capital of Hue, including the Great Bell of Thien Mu Pagoda cast by Lord Nguyen Phuc Chu in 1710; the lower mouth (one of the Nine Divine Cannons) ordered to be cast by King Gia Long in 1803; the high cauldron (one of the Nine Cauldrons) ordered to be cast by King Minh Mang in 1835; and the throne of the Nguyen Dynasty (one of the three still preserved in Hue).
The Imperial Capital Archaeology Book has two product versions. The archaeological experience version is specially designed with treasures encased in plaster, accompanied by archaeological simulation tools, creating opportunities for participants to explore and learn about ancient artifacts like a real archaeologist. The standard version with regular packaging can easily become a meaningful gift for friends, relatives, or sent by post.
Director of the Hue Monuments Conservation Center Hoang Viet Trung said that the Imperial Capital Archaeological Record is clear evidence that cooperation between units in developing the digital economy and cultural industry can create great values.
The project has successfully connected creators, historical experts, digital technology businesses, new technologies and the community to create a high-quality, modern cultural industrial product. This is not only a creative project but also a remarkable effort in preserving and promoting the cultural values and heritage of the nation./.
