Preserving and developing friendship between Binh Thuan and Kampong Chhnang province

Colonel Khou Sophann thanked the provincial leaders and the Military Command of Binh Thuan province for supporting Kampong Chhnang province in preventing and fighting the Covid-19 pandemic, holding elections, building a 2-storey building and providing office equipment. On the occasion of the Vietnamese Lunar New Year, Colonel Khou Sophann wished the provincial leaders and people of Binh Thuan a new year of good health and happiness. Wishing the friendship and solidarity between the two provinces and the two military units to be forever green and sustainable.

At the reception, Comrade Nguyen Hoai Anh - Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council affirmed: Binh Thuan always respects and continues to pay special attention to foreign affairs activities and development cooperation with Cambodian localities. Currently, the most prominent activities are delegation exchanges, twinning, cooperation and support between the Binh Thuan Provincial Military Command and the Kampong Chhnang Provincial Military Sub-region. Binh Thuan hopes to continue to further promote cooperation in socio-economic fields with Cambodian localities and units, contributing to preserving, nurturing and further developing the sustainable and long-term friendship, bringing the bilateral cooperation relationship between the two countries increasingly deeper, more substantive and effective.

Visiting and wishing the Provincial People's Committee a Happy New Year, on behalf of the officers and soldiers of Kampong Chhnang Provincial Military Sub-region, Colonel Khou Sophann expressed his joy and sent New Year greetings to the leaders of Binh Thuan province, wishing Binh Thuan to continue to successfully complete its assigned tasks. Colonel Khou Sophann respectfully invited the leaders of Binh Thuan province to visit Kampong Chhnang in April 2024 to attend the inauguration ceremony of a building supported by the Binh Thuan Provincial Military Command.

Receiving the delegation, Mr. Nguyen Minh - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee quickly informed about some highlights of Binh Thuan in the past year. Accordingly, in 2023, Binh Thuan province achieved important results in many fields, socio-economic development targets reached and exceeded the set plan. The GRDP (gross provincial product) growth rate reached 8.1%, exceeding the set target, ranking 14th out of 63 provinces and cities nationwide. Successfully organized the National Tourism Year 2023 "Binh Thuan - Green Convergence"; completed and put into operation 2 expressways Vinh Hao - Phan Thiet, Phan Thiet - Dau Giay, creating a positive effect in attracting investment and tourists to Binh Thuan province, promoting the socio-economic development of the province. Social security and welfare policies were fully and promptly implemented; people's lives are increasingly improving. Military - defense work achieved positive results; Political security is stable, social order and safety in the province are maintained.

Within the framework of activities in Binh Thuan, the delegation of Kampong Chhnang Provincial Military Sub-Region also visited and wished the Provincial Military Command a Happy New Year.
